If you are a meat eater this is a good choice. Above average, well presented and juicy steaks cooked according to requirement. When we were there the restaurant was quiet, the service was average. Would I go again? Yes

Lunch with a difference as my daughter is Vegan by choice, she chose a baked potato and hot veg and I had an Old School burger.LIME MILKSHAKE AND MANGO JUICE TO TAKE IT DOWN AND WE WERE HAPPY.TECLA OUR WAITRESS WAS A HAPPY LADY WHO JOKED AROUND WITH US.One thing SPUR should start looking at though is more variety for Vegan/vegetarian customers.Dear jbb88,Thank you for taking the time to review our family restaurant.We are pleased to hear you enjoyed our great customer service and our delicious selection of food. I've been to quite a few Spur Steak ranches over a 20 year period and decided to give these guys a go. I went late afternoon around 15:30. I usually order the standard original spur burger and follow it up with a classic waffle. I was totally blown away with a perfect burger and chips. For the burger specialists out there...who will argue and say it's only a burger and not perfect...all i will say is it's the best spur burger I've ever had...enough already bring the waffle :)Dear Winston G,Thanks so much for taking the time to send us your feedback and for your continuous support over the years. We went there to look at the iconic view of Table Mountain from Blauwberg Strand. The beach too is incredible.Catch 22 is well positioned to enjoy the view. We tasted a combination of fish a chips, a burger and sushi.Although they took time to arrive the quality of each one was excellent and worth the wait. We go to this restaurant on a regular basis. Service is always very good. Place is neat and clean. The menu is overpriced, but they do have a lunch special which is great value for money. They offer carvery once a week which became very boring. The same meat dishes and veggies every week. The salads are also the same every week. A change would be good.

On a recent visit to Cape Town I booked a table at Knife Restaurant. It was busy and noisy. After some 20 minutes drinks order was taken followed by slow delivery. After several enquiries, and assurances, our food order had not been served 90 minutes later.Customers arriving long after us received service before we did. I approached the counter to say that we could wait no longer. I was astonished to see a heap of chits on the counter; some staff members seemed to be trying to make sense of it all. In the chaos it was suggested that our order had "got lost". These things happen but nobody approached our table to see why we were sitting there without food. We left at 9pm having been there since about 7.15 pm. I was charged in full for the drinks and was not offered an apology (See pro-forma invoice 00223844 dd. 18March 2019 - Table 20). Appalling behaviour. The Pitz!!

As you walk you, the atmosphere changes from your boring day to another era. You immediately feel as if you have been transported into a bespoke grand saloon of the western age. The staff was excellent, confident and competent. Friendly, with full knowledge of the menu and great advice.The food arrived and did not disappoint.
