I visited The Ash in Troisdorf with a group of 12 colleagues. The staff were very attentive and friendly and ensured the drink flowed! The orders were taken and the food was served promptly and with only a small delay before we all had our dishes. Our steaks were cooked to order and the meat was of good quality.Despite the location (the restaurant is situated in an industrial area just off the motorway) The Ash was very well frequented (we were there on a Tuesday evening) and is obviously popular. I would therefore advise reserving a table.If your looking for a good meal, in particular steak, I can recommend a visit to The Ash.

This steakhouse was recommended by our B&B folks at Bed & Breakfast bei Felix and it was a great suggestion. My husband had a broiled steak with baked potato and I had their Goldener Ochse salad, which was a mixed salad with grilled steak strips, and goulash soup. Everything was totally delicious. All our neighbors seemed to be enjoying their food, also. They served a wide variety of beverages from soda and tea to wine and beer. Most the menu was steak related. Prices were very reasonable for the food (beef is expensive in Germany). It was worth the walk over!

For people enjoying a well-served meal plate, this is a very good address.I tried it during the asparagus season and the menu was full of plates with this nice vegetable.I had a grilled salmon with asparagus and I did not regret it!I saw the mixed grill plate and it was looking great!

The novelty of grilling your own steak never wears thin. The cuts are very decent given the price and the service very efficient, if not overly friendly. Even children can get a hot stone steak from the kid's menu. As others have pointed out, side dishes are not included so if you order a few the price can go up pretty quickly. But overall it's still a very nice place to have dinner in what is a very cosy small town.

Food and service awesome. The only thing to be mad about might (!) be the drinks. No one asked which kind of gin I want for my gin Tonic and also there was no water as a side dish for the espresso. But that's complaining on a rly high level. The service was great and so was the food. We had 4 different dishes and every single one was great. Highly recommendable!
