Sunday is buffet day and very good it is with a large selection of salads and cold meats, smoked salmon and prawns, or soup, followed by choices of pasta dishes, Chinese dishes or roast meats which is finished off with a great selection of desserts. The service was excellent. This is very popular with children who eat for half price. Expect to pay about 40 euros per person.

A gourmet restaurant situated at the Old Port of the town in an excellent spot with unobstructed sea view tables. The meat choices are an experience to be presented as well as select and taste. There is even pork meat available from animals that grew listening to classical music!

Visited two times during our one week stay at the Amathus Hotel. The steaks are of very high quality and the service friendly and attentive. The sommelier was also knowledgable and had some good recommendations. If anything, the vegetables and potatoes disappointed slightly (the fries are probably the safest option), but we felt this was a problem in almost every restaurant in the area.It is beautifully located with views over the ocean with tables both inside and outside. Booked for dinner at this restaurant which has great views overlooking the marina. Food was really poor quality..fatty, tasteless appetisers which put us off moving to mains and all literally twice the price we paid for a superb lunch in a local beach front restaurant on the Limassol beach road. Enjoy the view only.

Whether going with young family or larger groups, Yiannis caters for all and it is open a lot earlier than many other places. Included in the price is the starter of salad, pitta, home-grown olives and dips.He has a small menu that he reels off as part of the show to regulars with very good prices. Salmon, Lamb chops are usually â¬18 and a good selection of steaks for around â¬20. The peppercorn steak is amazing and he did mine without the usual mushrooms. If you can't eat it all as the portions are large Yianni will box up for you to take away. Choice of 2 deserts but it is all you need. Don't judge the place on looks and the plastic furniture. The service and food is amazing.The park outside is also good for the kids to run around in and is secure.
