Unlike the now popular "The Gril" DC Steak House still wins me over. I have been coming here for years since I moved into the middle east. There wasn't a time I was in Erbil I did not visit with my friends of Girlfriend. The Staff is extremely friendly, the wine selection is great, the atmosphere in great as well. They typically have nights throughout the week with themes and I love it. The beef comes in from Brazil and is amazing, cooked to perfection the way you want it. High quality food and service.The staff are always welcoming, friendly, attentive and efficient!Good ratio of staff to customers, well trained and with fairly good English.Mr Derman is the Maitre d' Hotel and is a professional!Quiet early in the evening, but I believe gets busier it the evenings.Highlight, cool draught Heineken!

This was a business lunch.Piped music greets you from the exterior of the building. Through an entrance lobby where you are immediately greeted and shown to a table in the highly atmospheric dining room. Jazz music sets the scene for a well decorated space with double height ceilings and luxurious upholstery.The service is sharp and attentive to detail, able to recommend menu options. They have a vast array of imported steaks and other meats, expertly prepared by their kitchen staff.One tiny mistake on the order was quickly rectified. The one improvement this restaurant could make would be to add a wine list but for now itâs soft drinks only.For ambience, service and quality of food, this restaurant would be a 5.Iâll be here again.
