Family run and operated restaurant for 40 years
The biggest plus of Poor Richard's is the staff who's very welcoming. We arrived late, nearish closing time on Wednesday, and were a bit indecisive when picking food off the menu at first! Our waitress (I think Nina) was very nice, patient, and understanding, she talked us through options and her own favourites. She was also very helpful when I was navigating the vegan and gluten free options available to me. Sadly the black bean and corn soup was made with chicken stock so it was a no-go for me. I ended up picking to eat from the salad bar and it was nice, with plenty of fresh veggies to choose from. Others had a rib eye steak and buffalo burger. The steak was particularly good which again was good advice from our waitress. Thank you for a lovely dinner!

Well it was New Yearâs Eve. So I got there right when they opened. I was seated promptly. My server was Rosie, she was very nice. I ordered my food. Everything was right on time. The rolls were greatttt. So was everything else. Steak cooked perfect. I would recommend going here. Let me know if this helps. Ask for Rosie.

This place was a bit out of our way but well worth the drive. Ordered the Cheeseburger Soup, which was great, and the Prime Rib Dip, which was scrumptious. Generous portion of meat on sandwich. Kathy, our server, was excellent. Wish we had been there for dinner. Bet the entrees are off the charts.

Historic, local favorite, and pretty tasty
This restaurant is fantastic! The filet was delightful, the kitchen did an amazing job and we didnât wait long for food. The hostess Jessica was an absolute delight, she was very polite and even helped entertain our small children. Overall, wonderful place with great staff and excellent food!
