Celebrating a birthday with 11 people (family and friends), having cake and coffee and a dinner. Very nice room, open fire-place, excellent kitchen and service.Good possibility to come with your own car (parking is no problem) or with bus (a bus-stop is very close at the LAGO swimming event). Sure that I will come again in the future !

Nice atmosphere. Average steak cuts. Or maybe my opinion is based on how different is a steak house to an american one.So many other dishes I would order before ordering a cut there. Ex. a ladies toast, thats not a bad one.Schinken paler as a a dessert is also a good one!Good service!

Ich wollte der "Alten Mühle" mal eine Chance geben und fuhr Mittags extra nach Herne Börnig.Dort angekommen laà ich auf der Karte, dass an diesem Tag "Schnitzeltag" ist und vergewisserte mich, dass der Laden auch auf hat. Dem war so und ich trat ein. Mehrere Leute wuselten in der Küche und im Gastraum. An einem Tisch aà ein einzelner Mann.Noch bevor ich mich an einen Tisch setzten konnte kam eben jener Mann auf mich zu und meinte man habe Mittagspause !?? Ich entgegnete, dass doch jetzt gerade die Mittagskartenzeit ist (so stehts vor dem Lokal und im Internet) und das ich doch iritiert sei,Nein entgegnete der Mann es ist zu und auÃerdem seien alle Geräte in der Küche "heruntergefahren"!?? Fazit: Absolut unprofessionell und geradezu unverschämt. Wer so mit Gästen umgeht der sollte sich einen anderen Beruf suchen. Finger weg.

I have never been in steakhaus like this. I only have good words for this restaurant. Food was great, personal was nice and kindly, just great. Salad was god, main meal was so huge and so tasty, desert was also very very good. I will put pictures of meals just to document our big pleasure.

Wir waren wieder einmal im Ambiente, weil wir dort noch nie enttäuscht worden sind. Die Menükarte ist vielseitig, die Qualität hochwertig, das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis einwandfrei. Aufmerksame und freundliche Bedienung.

We came here with a large group last year after a trade show in Dortmund. The food arrived after a long wait, which was a bit disappointing. However the food itself was great, tasty and fresh.As we had some vegetarians and Muslims with us, it was a bit difficult to find vegetarian or halal dishes (although they had some seafood alternatives).
