Food has improved vastly, good quality, excellent portions. Attentive and helpful staff. Only down sides, it used to be one of the best pints of Bellhaven around, but seems it may no longer be available. Also the new owner sitting watching everyone makes you feel uneasy, not physically working, just watching, Iâd customers feel like this, god knows how staff must feel with eyes on them whole time. Would be good to see owner leading from front and to get the Bellhaven back in and this could be a great wee village pub .

We couldn't believe our luck that we where able to get a walk in table as it's usually fully booked but our plans changed and we where looking for somewhere to eat and Grill on the Bridge is our go to place in Dumbarton! Amazing quality of food most of which is locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The staff are so friendly helpful and patient especially when you have a contrary 6 year old who changed his mind! I love the fact the children's menu is proper food from the adult menu but smaller portions and not your bulk standard frozen nuggets fish fingers or pizza - I honestly have no negative comments to make except the cheesecake is too good and I can never decide which one to get so just as well they have a takeaway service which in my case is a cakeaway! Thanks for providing us with an amazing family friendly place to eat locally - see you soon!

The food was excellent. Some of the family had the car very which they all said was amazing. One had fish and chips which looked like a whale and was very well cooked and tasty. I had the tempura selection which hit the spot. We all had sweets which were also delicious. The only slight problem was the service time from sitting down to be offered a drink. However, we will be back.

This is a place that cannot be missed.. But you only get what you pay for .. So its not cheep .. It is just terrific. Thanks Chef and your 2 wonderful front of house (not enough). And how chose that house red from heaven(best I've ever tasted) and ime 60+so I've had a few glasses of house wine. Well done C U soon.... Thank you for a such a great review. Recommended by our hotel near the airport and with a good rating by Tripadvisor, we called for a reservation on a busy Saturday evening. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. Our server Jennifer (hope she received the tip we left on our credit card) was great fun and knowledgeable.Their menu offers a wide variety from which to select. All four of us ordered the ribeye steaks with garlic mash. Steaks cooked to perfection, very good mash and nice presentation. The house merlot was nice and we appreciated being able to order a glass sized to our liking.
