Had a very nice meal here (mushroom soup was unique and delicious) but it houses a hookah bar and most everyone is smoking that or cigarettes. Good eats but you have to be OK with secondhand smoke.

The place is definitely a hidden gem off the beaten track. The decor is simple yet creatively cozy and unique. Chef Alessandro brings an authentically Brazilian Churascaria dining experience to Amman that everyone should enjoy. The food was absolutely wonderful and service was friendly. Great experience!

After spending 5 days in Jordan, we were getting tired of the typical Jordanian food. I did a search on Trip Advisor to see what was available close enough to the hotel and the Pit-House popped up. After eating there, I am glad we found it.Pit-House is a small restaurant with 5 or 6 high top tables. The kitchen is open and facing the dining area, so you can see every stage of preparing your meal. You can see them smoking the meat (I forgot to ask what wood they were using). I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had the flat iron steak. The steak was cooked just right and the smoking wasn't overwhelming in the taste. The brisket was smokier, of course, which went well with the barbecue sauce. The brisket was very tender and similar to what you would find in a good barbecue shack in Texas. The prices at Pit-House were reasonable, especially for Amman. I'd describe the small dining area as modern casual. The restaurant was spotless and all furniture was maintained quite well. The service was attentive and friendly. The owner was quite welcoming to all guests. We felt comfortable from the minute walked in the door. If you are looking for a change of cuisine in Amman, I'd definitely recommend Pit-House of Barbecue. They do one thing and they do it well!

This is a lounge/restaurant that has managed to maintain its standards and that is a big challenge in Amman.They are hosting live singing, Ms. Suha Bader and her musician, she did a great job singing in Arabic, English, French, and some Spanish.The food there is excellent. The salads are nice, their hot pot soup is awesome. Tempura shrimp tasty with a thin crust, and finally their Schnitzel. My only reservation is that Schnitzel used to be better. Now, the crust is not holding to the meat and detaching from the escalope easily, which shouldnât be the case.Service was good and Mr. Ramzi is as hospitable and kind as ever. Greetings to him and his team.Lovely place, crowd, music, foods, and drinks.Recommended!

This restaurant is located in the Fairmont Hotel at 5th Circle in Amman. The hotel is new and has been open for full business for just about a year. Restaurant is located on the grounds of the hotel Quality of the food is outstanding. Steaks are aged well. They offer high end Wagyu and other select cuts. Service was attentive. I found the atmosphere of the restaurant lacking. I felt enclosed and it is very dark. Since they allow smoking it is hard to get away from it.
