Really nice place to take something to drink or eatin the city center of Kandy, just nextto the temples. The place has a cute atmosphere aad the food is delicious, specially fruit juices. Our waiter Sathish was very polite and helpful. They also has awesome vintage postcards and posters that you also can buy.Alba and Candela

We spent 3 nights in the Leopard d'Argent. The rooms were clean but rather simple, which wasn't a problem at all since the location, the food, the pool and the incredibly friendly and helpful host Fabrice were just amazing. Our children were very welcome, he even made special food for them. We can highly recommend this beautiful place where we really felt at home.helloThank you for your lovely comments about Le Leopard d Argent . We had a traditional indian meal which was mid spicy and fresh. There were plenty of other options if you eat all kinds of foods but kinda limited for vegans or vegetarians.

My wife and I went here for the views and the cocktails only to be told when we arrived, no cocktails. From there the night got worse. Service was bad, food was average and to top the night off we get to the end and are told they only accept cash. After all the nice places we ate in Sri Lanka this was a real disappointment.

I read some good reviews on this place and wanted to find somewhere decent to take my partner for lunch on his birthday. Very pleased with the meals and service. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and minced lamb, and finished off with the watalappam and vanilla ice cream for dessert. The location was lovely overlooking Kandy city and the staff were very nice.

What I liked most about this restaurant was fresh juices made from many uncommon local fruits like star fruit or dragon fruit. Food was really delicious and ambience of restaurant is pretty modern and clean for Sri Lanka. This is a restaurant chain across the country run by the Ministry of Agriculture and owned by the government. They serve all traditional food and fresh fruit juices.Prices are very cheap and food is very clean and healthy. You need to pay and order. There are around 8 - 10 individual ladies selling their food and you need to pay separately at each counter. All outlets have a car park and toilets. This is one of my favorite stop overs when I travel outstation from Colombo.

The cooking class is a great introduction to the Sri Lankan cuisine for cooks of all levels alike. Sulochana is an excellent teacher who willingly shares her love for cooking and prepares delicious meals which we're terribly missing ever since our 2 night stay in the residence.
