The sour beer was interesting. The empanadas were yum. The interiors are pretty cool. From hearing about the place I kind of expected more but it was a perfectly fine quick snack and drink stop.

We went here because of the excellent reviews, and because we were staying across the road for the week. We certainly we not let down. Promptly seated and given water and the menu. It is a very small place adjoining the QV markets, and can be accessed from the market when open, or from Victoria St. Ordered the following, Ternera Al Limon; Calamares; Fried Sardines, Patatas Asadas Con Mojo, which were all on the tapas menu, and followed these with Spanish Meatballs. All items very tasty, well presented, and full of flavour. The girl chef and her kitchen are very visible and it was great to see everything being prepared freshly before your eyes.I could not fault anything tonight and we were both very impressed. Total inc two glasses of red wine, was $112 for both of us. We walked away extremely satisfied and will have to return to try the rest of the tapas menu.Muchisimas gracias! Thank you very much for your compliments & time to Review us. We pride ourselves on happy staff and delicious Spanish food being served. So happy to hear you will come back and enjoy more of the Taste of Spain in Melbourne CBD.

The first restaurant to ignite Melbourneâs obsession with tapas, sharing plates, and venues tucked away down graffiti-scrawled laneways, MoVida Original stands proud in Hosier Lane as a stalwart Melbourne icon. Whether it's from the bustling dining room o
Another international flight another opportunity to sample Bar Pulpo! But more to the point Chef Bergerâs perfect facsimiles of the legendary Frank Cammoraâs signature tapas repotoire. I ate with Chef Dan G who is working on the new Delia airport concept and he has a very highly tuned palate, so when he is raving about the food you know itâs good. Not only is the food on point but great value for money $36 buys you 6 tapas and a beer or wine. Also big shout out to front of house manager Daniel who has been at Bar Pulpo for quite some time his understanding of the menu and tapas bar concept coupled with his can do attitude sets a solid platform for Chef Bergerâs team to weave their magic. This is a must do when on airside at Melbourne International Airport.

The food here was divine! Service was prompt and informative. Only issue we had were our neighbours at the tables next to us practically sitting on our laps. Theyâve squished so many tables in the front of the restaurant that you canât expect nice quiet conversation with your partner.

First time dining at this great little restaurant. Last minute booking to try something local. The booking had been overlooked but lucky they did have a table for 2. We chose the Sunday special which was great value. Paella and Sangria for two.The meal was served quite fast, sizzling hot and full of seafood and really tasty. Sangria was served in a jug and quite generous. The restaurant ambiance, the decoration and the staff were all v. good. Will definitely return to sample more of the menu. Not necessarily fine dining but good tasty food in a pleasant and congenial atmosphere.
