I do admit I'm especially fond of this restaurant as food is great, service is friendly and efficient, views are excellent and it sits in front of my preferred beach in Formentera. Difficult to find a competitor, doesn't it?I would say this season the starters are not that big as they used to be, but still as tasty as usual.Tip 1: I would advice to share some starters first and then go for any of the excellent rices. Tip 2: book well in advance for a table in front of the fence and gorgeous views over the sea. Although I have a personal preference for a similar restaurant nearby I must admit Es Cupinà was great today: great service, great food and the best table in the restaurant (as we booked the day before -tip-).We did not taste neither rice nor fideuas (which are usually very good) and we shared multilple starters and some main courses: salmon tartar, clams, mussels, spanish omelette -a must here-, tuna fish,... excellent each of then.It is true that it is a bit overpriced, but if get one of the front view tables and the same quality as of today I think it is worth it for once -or twice ;-) -.Illustration: salmon tartar for 17â¬Labels: $$$, 2Eat, #Mediterranean, #Terrace, #Views, #children, #mustGo

We visited here on our trip to the hippy market.The menu has a variety of burgers, hotdogs , toasted wraps and nachos.Highly recommend as the staff are friendly and helpful and the food was really tasty and reasonably priced.Only downside they don't do chips.

We have been coming to Es Calo for over 30 years and Cafe Rafalet is like a second home, spectacular views, people watching, great great staff who work tremendously hard but always with a cheery smile and a quick word. We are always welcomed back with a hug and warm words, even if they have seen so many people come and go in the year. It is our best cafe in the world.

This is the "best known" place to get a mojito -very good but overpriced- while staring at the sun set in Formentera... We fell in this restaurant in May. The staff was very efficient with our dinner wishes. My wife and I shared an excellent entrecot with pepper and cheese sauce.The sunset is probably the best of the island with extraordinary views.Prices, the usual on the islands.A must !!!

Itâs hard to have a bad meal with this view and this service. We ordered the fried lobster with potatoes, eggs, and truffles, and it was absolutely memorable. Come for lunch to enjoy the view or for sunset. Amazing all around. Thank you for a special meal!

My husband and I ate here last night and we cannot say enough wonderful things about the place- the ambiance, the food, and of course the service. I have to start by thanking Pili for going out of her way to accommodate us. After visiting the restaurant to find it was fully booked for the next few days, I had explained to Pili that we had tried calling MANY TIMES to make a reservation and could not get through. Pili could see our disappointment and decided to take my phone number and said she would call me the following day in an attempt to accommodate us. That following morning, I received a phone call from her own personal cell phone via Whatâs App, offering us a table for that night. We couldnât be more appreciative. Everything from the fried seafood appetizer, to the lobster paella and finally the famous cheesecake was AMAZING. Do yourself a favor and make sure to dine here during your time in Formentera. You will be so glad you did!
