Es un local pequeño, parece una cafeterÃa. Tuvimos que comer de menú porque habÃa una celebración y nos dijeron que la cocina estaba un poco desbordada. Nos dio un poco de miedo pero ya nos habÃamos sentado. Pues no tuvimos ningún problema. La persona que nos atendió era eficiente, educada, simpática y muy profesional. Los platos originales, abundantes, bien cocinados, con calidad. Los postres... para dejar de lado cualquier dieta. La chica que nos atendió, un cielo, recomendándonos lugares para visitar por los alrededores. Repetiré siempre que vaya por allÃ.

First of all we should be thankful as this place offered a chance of dinner in Daimiel on a Monday evening (the typical closing day in Spain) and offered late dinner, as we had been at the Tablas around sunset. From the web, the menu and the concept seemed interesting so we found our way into the narrow streets of Daimiel to reach this restaurant. Parking in the vicinity (near the cchurch) was no problem at all.The menu is indeed a bit different from your run-of-the-mill local choice, but, sadly, the food was somewhat of a mixed bag. Some items were quite tasty, others rather bland and evidently using not-too-great prefabricated elements.Service was OK, but nothing special. For the selection and the tasty elements of our dinner I was tempted to give 4 stars, but finally settled at "Normal" as being appropriate. We would eat there again, but not seek it out specifically.

Sunday evening, and not a huge selection still available... presumably eaten at lunchtime! Staff very friendly, and enjoyable inexpensive tapas, though one, the perfectly cooked crispy deep fried pork belly/pork scratchings is an acquired taste...that we havenât quite reached. The local Valdepeñas red wine was simply superb.

We decided to try Bar Santi on a quiet Sunday evening. Pleasant walk from our hotel. The waiter was friendly and attentive and the wine he served was excellent. Certainly worth returning to try the food as the tapas served with the wine were generous and tasty.

Se trata de un bar con unas tres o cuatro mesas para comer. La gente de Daimiel acude allà por su ambiente y sus tapas. Personal amabilÃsimo y rápido. Comida elaborada, rica y sorprendente. No hay nada que probásemos que no estuviera rico. La prueba es que no sobró nada. Desde las croquetas hasta el bacalao, pasando por los huevos. Lo único malo fue la cantidad de ruido que habÃa. Por lo demás, perfecto.

From the telephone booking to the chupito at the end of the meal, the customer service was excellent; both friendly, helpful and informative we were made to feel very special. The food was wonderful, with each plate being described in detail by the owner, who knew her food and made excellent recommendations. The food was tasty, plentiful and where appropriate, hot. The little touches, like bringing us extra napkins and almost offering us the bar for chupitos, went far beyond our expectations. It is a pity we are only passing through as this bar/restaurant deserves regulars and we would fill that role willingly. We confidently recommend it.Muchas gracias señores. Me encanto atenderles. Y que hablaran ustedes español hizo sentirme más tranquila. Fue todo un placer atenderles y de verdad que voy a poner mucho interés en hablar el inglés y entenderlos en su idioma porque creo que será algo muy positivo para mi.
