The restaurant was extremely clean well and maintained. The menu was in Spanish but the staff was very helpful in describing the dishes as my Spanish is very limited. The location of the restaurant is in a very picturesque area. The food was fresh and serve was quick. The had a Chilean Salad (Tomatoes and Onions) and beef filets. The salad was amazing, very fresh. The beef was tasty but the chef seems to cook beef to the well done side.

It is part of a conference center, so more suitable for business lunch. Quality of food is average but it can be terrible too. I had meat so hard that it was not edible. Service is cold, without care. Open also to families, but I would not recommend it!I'm so sorry you didn't enjoyed your stay with us. We are working very hard to make sure we improve on those matters every day. I'm confident on your next visit you will enjoy our food.

As we were coming back from visiting the Cajon del Maipo area, we were looking for a place to stop and where we could have lunch and enjoy the sights.We stumbled on this boutique hotel which also has a nice restaurant. We opted for the terrace which had a nice view of the mountains.The menu had quite a few choices and mostly offered traditional chilean food. I opted for the steak with a mash of potatoes with merken which was really nice. My wife had the fish which was equally good. It's simple and unpretentious food and we had a good time overall.

Visited as special celebration, after recommendation by friends. About 40 minutes out of central Santiago, going south. English speaking. Buffet food and open bar for local wines. Very child friendly, good food, horse show and charming service at this family-owned restaurant. Interesting version of the cueca (Chilean National Dance) with the man on horseback which I hadn't seen before. Children are allowed to ride the horses. Would happily revisit and recommend to anyone.

The restaurant has beautiful views of the river and mountains. It is a delight to sit outside by the fire pit and listen to the river gush below. The service is extremely slow and neglectful. The staff spend more time socializing with each other than serving. Our dinner order was lost and took over 2 hours to arrive. However, it was very well prepared.

It is a beautiful cafe shape as a barrel. The food is amazing, they have sandwiches with very good quality meat, you can add sauteed mushrooms to them. They have a wonderful selection of cakes "Torta Sacher" or " Mil Hojas", which is a classic chilean cake with manjar (dulce de leche). I also recommend "Kuchen de Nuez" which is sort of a pie with walnuts. I have gone there with my boyfriend and with friends and the quality and service are always amazing.Thanks Ana Luisa for your great descriptions about us and I hope you really enjoy your time in Chile. This is a really good restaurant. Beautifully located with nice options for both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is in Spanish with a bit of English translation; we didnât have any staff who could speak more than a word or two of English which surprised us. Our major criticism though is the portion size - which is just crazily large which means food in consistently wasted. A real pity. Of course you can take home leftovers if you like, but thatâs not the point.Not cheap - prices not far from a hose in major cities; but did the job and we visited a few times during our stay at Cascada. My review is about cottages they own. So far It's one the best cottages I ever stayed. . We couldn't believe that there can be a place like this only 1 hour's drive from Santiago. they have few independent cottages and all have breath taking views. this place is surrounded by nature (mountains, river, trees). We could hear sound of river whole night. Host was nice and gentleman. Rooms and beds were very clean, equipped with all the necessities. If you want to take a break from your busy life and enjoy true beauty of nature, this is the place. It's a package of mental peace, relaxation and enjoying quality time with your loved ones.if you are near to Santiago, don't miss it.
