Food was surprisingly good. Many items are tapas style so you can try different multiple items for the price of one meal. They also offer full meals. Cervesaâs are ice cold. Recommend stopping by for tapas.

The food is over priced , the service is nice but I ate at several sodas in town and all of them served better seafood then this place at half the price . Great view , nice for people watching .

The four of us were staying at Pacifico Condominiums and wanted to find a place for breakfast and lunch when we were in town. It's a little hard to spot but we were so lucky to find El Rinconcito Criollo. Just to give an example of breakfast for four of us one morning: 3 ham and cheese omelettes, 1 plate of fried plantains, 2 orange juice (fresh), 1 hash browns, water, 1 French toast, 1 pinto en combo (beans and rice, a national Tico dish), coffees. And the interesting thing is that on different mornings the same orders were served differently, each enjoyable, and that added to the diversity of the menu. It is not a fancy place, but the server and other employees couldn't have been nicer. Pura Vida!

A wonderful family-owned restaurant, featuring local seafood, generous servings and delicious mixed drinks! Our group of seven adults tried a variety of entrees for lunch and everyone was happy with their choices, which ranged from seafood cocktails/ceviches, to grilled and fried entrees and combo plates to hamburgers.

This place provides a buffet of standard Tico fare for a good price. You get 1 meat plus all the sides (rice, really good mashed potato, veg, black beans and plantain) for 4000 colones including a drink! Cheap as chips and ever so tasty too. I would thoroughly recommend it and have been dreaming of the mashed potato ever since I visited...

After a week in town we finally got around to trying this place and wish we had found it sooner. Made to order pizzas and a full list of traditional Italian dishes, all of them beautifully presented and tastily prepared.Outdoor dining and a very gracious wait staff made our visit all the more enjoyable. My wife is a vegan and they were very accommodating
