We visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch (Sept. 20th) at the recommendation of a local person who eats there often. There were 7 of us, and we had a lovely lunch. We started with the mixture of hot and cold appetizers. There were many courses to this, brought out a couple at a time. Every dish was fresh from the sea, and prepared to perfection. By the time we finished all this, we were too full to have anything more than a seafood risotto and linguini with tuna which we all shared. The wine was very good and we shared two desserts. The bill was reasonable at approximately 30 euro per person. We ate out on the patio with a beautiful view of the sea. The waitress was very friendly and efficient. There was no long wait for our food, and cold dishes were cold and hot dishes were hot. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

This is a great fish restaurant. The service is good too. The chefs are well qualified to deliver a range of quality prepared food that on this occasion included Squid Ink pasta, seared tuna and the Langoustines were the best for a long time - fresh sweet and tasty.

This is the perfect fish restaurant. Located on the harbour, it is frozen in time: you feel as if you are back in the Sixties. The fish, absolutely fresh, is simply delicious, like home cooked. Try the fish tripe.

The old papal tax collection centre with its brick vaulted ceilings has been reimagined into a fish restaurant of high quality. We had the asparagus and scampi risotto and mixed fried fish. All served with in-house baked bread and small pizzas washed down a local Pecorino white.Our guest had a pasta dish. All up with coffee E108.

At the moment this restaurant is n°1 on Tripadvisor for San Benedetto. I have been coming to San Benedetto area for the last thirty years and comparing Tato's offer to the average high level restauration of the town and surroundings I think that the quality/price ratio is not excellent . Non all the antipasti ( around 15 small samples ) of the " Percorso di mare " were impressive, whereas I appreciated very much the seafood mezzemaniche and linguine. The atmosphere and customer care reminds me of several local ordinary seafood trattorias, although the reastaurant offers a relatively elegant appearance. Nice place, nothing impressive.
