My family , friends and i visited this restaurant in June. the welcome soon unrevealed the rudeness and arrogance of the host - owner which greeted us in shabby , dirty cook clothes and a pair of sandals completely out of line with the pretentious decor and overall atmosphere.while ordering , in several occasions he failed to be kind , patient and courteous while explaining the dishes with more of an arrogant and annoyed attitude.we decided to follow his suggestions to avoid confronting in making the decision about what to eat so that we could finally have dinner.my partner and i ordered oysters and when asking if would have been possible to have , beside lemon , seasoned vinegar and black pepper he soon came to the table making an all statement about how oysters should been eaten and argumenting instead of simply responding to the request.the pasta dish was tasteless , it was more of boiled pasta without salt or any of the promised delicious "vongole Nostrane " the sublime " as he had described " plate of raw fish was far from tasting the flavor of the nearby Adriatic sea and the " ricciola " sashimi was un eatable ( he left the all fish on a trolley next to our table trought out the all evening , out of the fridge and without any meaning of refrigeration as crushed ice or other ... he kept slicing the fish using his hands clearly durty , unwashed since we had arrived , without using gloves but mostly kept serving out in a " durty show " wearing a pair of plastic sandals showing half of his calloused toes ... a quite unpleasant and disgusting scene! )The owners directs , commands , orders his staff in a direct hard way creating a very tense atmosphere to the incredible surprise of all the diners not worth visiting not only for the mediocre food but for the un-professional , arrogant , rude owner . the bill is according to his vision of good service and cooking , pricey !mi meraviglio della sua recenzione negativa visto che tutti gli altri ospiti sono stati bene e mi hanno ringraziato del tutto, ma capisco anche che lei e il suo dolce compagno forse non siete abituati a mangiare pesce fresco e visto che il suo compagno a pagato con carta quella sera poteva risentirsi direttamente con me ma o notato come gli altri ospiti del belgio abbiano preso in considerazione la sua richiesta a tavola

I was here with my family for a lovely meal. All ingredients are fresh from the day !! It was one of the greatest experience ever. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone. Staff are amazing. You pay for the quality !Can't wait to come back

Finding good fish around Ferragosto is a bit of a challenge. We solved it with an amazing dinner at this place. Vasto is famous for its soup (Brodetto alla Vastese), with only locally sourced fish, and this place served us a breathtaking one. Not just that, the starters (about 15 different types including hot, raw and marinated) also were so fresh you could actually taste the sea.Local wine, rigorously white and bubbly, was also very appropriate for the dishes. All in all a great experience, I'd go back there other hundred times if I could. Don't miss it if you find yourselves in Vasto!Beware, though, that they don't seem to accept card payments -- cash only.

We arrived to a packed restaurant , we were offered a free drink whilst we waited for a table to become available, we Waited less than half an hour .Extensive menu , we were helped to order with our limited Italian and phrase book by lovely staff . The steaks were amazing . Thank you

A wonderful rustic setting with fantastic views. The food is incredible with numerous varieties of fish and seafood beautifully prepared and presented. We opted for the 35⬠lunch option and can not imagine eating anymore food. A cold appetizer course of 6 plates, a hot appetizer course of 5 plates, a pasta course with scampi, and finally fruit and sorbet. Wine included in the price and liqueur offered at the end but we had to surrender. Staff were kind and efficient. Lunchtime was advertised as 1-2 pm but we arrived just after 12 and able to be served. We agreed this was the best meal of our trip. Make sure to arrive hungry!!!

The speciality of Vasto, a vast dish full of different fish, clams, prawns, squid, etc. in a pot was excellent. It was Monday, the owner was there himself, the restaurant was half empty but the service was excellent, the fish was fresh.The venue is worth visiting, it can also hold large groups, upstairs is full of interesting paintings and deco.

Are you in Vasto for holidays ? Well ... you cannot miss this experience. You walk just a little bit outside the historical centre and you'll find that "unusual" place. Why "unusual" ? Because it is strange ( in Italy ) to find a takeaway of fish only ... and we are not talking about a "Fish and Chips Takeaway" ! The place is small enough to have 3-4 tables if you wish to eat on the spot, otherwise you can take your choice home. The selection of dishes is impressive and fresh fish only. On one side you may choose among cooked dishes on display in a counter; on the right hand side instead there is another counter full of ice where is taken continuously fresh fish. In fact at our arrival ( 1.45 p.m. ) we were lucky enough to sit on a table just vacated by customers and we had to wait quite a while beause a lot of people queuing for their orders. Our selection was tasty and prices very reasonable. I dare suggest La Paranza to add a few more bottles of wine to choose from ... considering the area is full of wonderful wines ( such as Cococciola, Passerina, Pecorino, Trebbiano ).grazie per la sua bella recensione..staff La Paranza

Located just off the main square in Vasto is this lovely little restaurant. It is an absolute must!! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is extremely helpful.
