On the way to the customer we stopped to this magnificent "inn".I had smoked tuna carpaccio with butter and toasted bread.On top of that I had home made pasta (tagliolini) with sardines! locale molto conosciuto sempre abbastanza pieno di clientela. Si caratterizza soprattutto per una cucina di pesce che peraltro nella serata che abbiamo vissuto non si è particolarmente distinta. Le cozze sono risultate cotte sicuramente molto tempo prima e poi riscaldate probabilmente al microonde, per cui alcune risultavano caldissime ed altre erano fredde ed in ogni caso avevano perso quasi tutto il loro sapore.Decisamente di bassa qualità la frittura mista di pesce con sapori non particolarmente gradevoli. Il locale si fa preferire per un livello di prezzo abbastanza basso, ma come qualità non ci siamo.

We went for dinner here whilst in Padua, and were very impressed. The atmosphere in an old dining room with beautiful paintings and candlelight was sophisticated and yet relaxed. The service was friendly but effective, and the food was superb. The risotto was delicious, the beef was excellent and the desserts amazing. The wine list is comprehensive and well priced and we had fantastic good and wine. I would thoroughly revcrtbis restaurant, which deserves all the plaudits it receives.

The trattoria reflects some of the finer restaurants that I've visited. A big smile on the server's face welcomes you. Although he is alone to the occupied tables, he is alert and very quick-footed. There are several good choices of wine of which I picked a Chianti. Wines are available in standard bottles or 375ml. I enjoyed my salad, tasty bread and olive oil, then devoured the beef steak, prepared approx medium and with the slightest hint of salt. The restaurant is very close to the city centre and approx 6mins walk from Piazza dei Signori. They have wifi too. Totally recommended.
