If you want the typical dishes of this region then this is a great place to start. The menu of the day is a good option and gives you lots to try and a family of four. The service was good and the portion sizes enormous... Make sure you have not snacked before hand!!

Breakfast as good as anywhere on our 2 week trip in the Picos and better than most. The evening meal I had was delicious, the local venison stew. It is a family run business and the wife holds certificates in local cooking as displayed in the restaurant. Would recommend this restaurant without a doubt. We enjoyed our 2 nights here. The first night we were tired after a hard day in the Cares Gorge followed by the drive here so we just ate our own cold food outside on a restaurant table which was offered to us to use.

We had dinner here yesterday, as we were at Pousada El Corcal for the night. Everything we ate were delicious. We had Croquetas de carne and Rabas for starter. The second dishes were lechaco al horno, solomillo and Sea Bream. All cooked to perfection. And, we had tarta de queso for dessert.
