After a warm welcome by (the son) of the owner we got our delicious antipasti. After the secondy a dessert was almost to much so we wanted an limoncello. After one look at the dessert we still got one, it looked like heaven, and it was like heaven. What a lovely spot, great food and even more lovable people.

Capitato per caso sono rimasto Veramente sorpreso. Servizio gentile e cordiale, ottime le cozze, eccellente la linguina al riccio. Calamari un po meno ma assolutamente vale una visita. Conto non so in quanto ho preferito scrivere prima...

Ci siamo stati a cena con una coppia di amici e siamo rimasti molto colpiti dall'altissima qualità del cibo, dalla gentilezza del proprietario e dalla cortesia nel servizio. Posto frequentato da tutte le fasce d'età in un angolo di Salento da vedere! Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Ormai a Veglie siamo di casa, visto che veniamo in ferie qui da 4 anni. Abbiamo provato questo nuovo locale e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi: prodotti di qualità e porzioni da far invidia a mia nonna! Vi consiglio di provare il risotto al limone, gamberetti e bufala. 10+. Complimenti ragazzi!!!

High season might not have started yet (start of July and does it really matter?) but we were faced with a number of dishes which were not available. Very disappointing when you've set your mind on a course. Classic Vitello Tonato as a starter was straight forward disappointing. Other starters and main courses were fine. Besides certain dishes that were not available, apparently the same was valid for red wine (in Apulie!!!). We ordered 1 liter of the house red but we were served the rosé. To our luck the rosé was excellent ( especially taken into account the price of EUR 4.50 / ltr).

We went for dinner in this restaurant and, as soon as we arrived, we were stunned by the beautiful location in harmony with the century-old monumental olive trees. We came back six times in ten days, which speaks volumes to how delicious the food is. Everything is superb, from the starters to the desserts, and is in religious accordance with the traditional cuisine of Salento. Every dish is carefully explained by the very kind staff, which speaks very good English. Andrea and Alessandro are the kindest and most accomodating hosts ever, while their mother is the main cook and their father supervises with great experience and savoir-faire. We recommend the "Antipasto Gli Ulivi", the Carpaccios of Swordfish or Octopus and the delicious Insalata di Mare. Let the staff explain you the several kind of flours from antique grains that they employ in making their pasta by hand, which is the most digerible pasta we ever had. The "Sagne al Ragù di Seppia" and the "Pasta di Riso Venere con Polpo e Funghi Cardoncelli" are simply irresistible, so much that we had them several times. The fish of the day is beautifully prepared and served, and the "Pezzetti di Cavallo" (diced horsemeat) is a real treat. Five stars is an understatement. Keep up the good work!

In this restaurant , hidden somewhere in the town of Veglie ( not easy to found even with navigation) , two brothers are , now for oer 20 years , exploiting and expressing their love for great ingredients , so be ready for it in whatever you might orderFish and seashells of good quality, amazing bread , and one of the best pizza I had in my life, perfectly cooked and super delicious . Wine list that needs some updates , the first two wines I picked up , they were sold out ...but is quite wide and covering main italian regions plus some good champagnes Lovely dessert , again home made The waitress in the room could be friendlier and more welcoming in approach as she gives the impression that she is the one that decides and that "pushy" sensation is not always making feel people at ease .Service in our case was so quick that in 45 minutes we got served five dishes ...and that is too faast to enjoy a dinner , at least for mePrices on the mid high range .The pizza alone is worth the trip

After enjoying our walk around Ostuni we needed something to eat and searched Tripadvisor for the best restaurants and so we went in search of this wonderful Osteria. The setting was fantastic, almost cave like inside. Beautifully set out for dinner, with indiviually hand painted plates as decoration on the table. Beautiful pictures adorning the walls and wonderful wall and ceiling lights. The ambience was superb and all this before we had a fantastic meal! The food was heavenly and the wine superb. Such a wonderful experience and will visit again when we next go back!

We ate dinner at this restaurant, primi of a spaghetti con cozze and scrigni agli scampi then fillet scottona for secondi, Nergoamara red wine and local ice cream for desert. All the food was freshly cooked, delicious pasta dishes and tender scottona. The restaurant was busy and the waiters were attentive. The chef came around to check what we had thought of the food after wards - nice touch.
