New restaurant beside the sea, pleasant staff however service was a little slow to take orders, nice ambiance, food was average but overpriced. Drinks are expensive, beers 6â¬, cocktails 10â¬, - there are restaurants that serve higher quality food, better cocktails for the same price or less.

Senat Beach sits on Anse Madame Beach at Schoelcher. Half of the tables are set in the sand, the rest on a wooden deck. All tables are covered. Great grilled fish and steaks. Served with local vegetables, rice and excellent salads. And there is their excellent sauce 'chien' a local speciality. Daily specials include local dishes like octopus Fricassee. There is also a kids' menu. And if you just want to enjoy a drink and admire the beach view, the beers are always well chilled. A great laid back hangout. Open for lunch and dinner.
