I live in Deal, so I go to a lot of area Kosher eating placing. This one is heads above all the rest. We were warmly greeted, sat quickly, ever when they were busy. Server new all the menu items and all the specials. My wife had a warm cauliflower salad and she loved it. I had the biggest and best omelet anyone could hope for get anywhere. We noticed how clear it was and how well run.We also could not leave without trying their Famous Milky Weigh with Hot Carob. We started out splitting it, but after tasting it we each got out own. We took home so MAC salad and home made muffins. Now my wife goes everyday for Milky Weigh and then bring homes, Mac. salad and muffins. GREAT>

I seldom give Excellent to a restaurant but this out of the way Jamaican restaurant deserves it. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. Nothing beats that nowadays. She cooks the food when you order it. We had beef patties, curry shrimp, jerk oxtail, jerk chicken and some plantains. For drinks we had sorrel and ginger. Not a single item was a miss. Everything was great and the servings were very generous. This place definitely deserves the rating it gets!

I am not a seafood fan specially crustaceans i was asked not to come back to UK with out trying a lobster ,after travelling around North America and Canada where i could possibly had the best lobster Which I didn;t, but no i chose to have it in New Jersey at this restaurant but what a mistake it was if you want lobster cooked by McDonalds i think this is the perfect example dont waste your money and your appettite it was dissappointing and disgusting for me

My wife and I have tried to eat here many times. But the wait was too long. We put our name in indoors (1.5 hour wait) and also outdoor area, 45 minutes. The outdoor cleared in 30 minutes. A smaller menu, pricy to say the least. Service was not the best, had to ask twice for napkins and silverware. Food selections was good. The seats on the boardwalk and the view of the beach was very nice. So bottom line: Pricey, so-so service, food okay, but great view.

Came here with my husband and toddler. Lots of great choices on the menu, but we decided on the smoked fish dip, octopus, and the crabcake sliders. Husband ordered the ultimate bloody mary, and I got the cava. The bloody mary is no joke! There really isn't much of a kids menu (chicken tenders, hot dog, or linguini pasta), so my toddler just munched on some pita from the dip appetizer. Service was attentive, and the atmosphere was pretty lively for a 5:30pm reservation! There is outdoor seating, but we sat inside since the tables were full.I'd go again and order the mussels. I saw many folks order that! The octopus and the sliders were a hit for us. The dip was just ok, and definitely not enough pita bread!

Wanted some seafood for my birthday lunch with family. Ordered raw clams, flavored oysters, octopus salad, peel and eat shrimp, stuffed shrimp and a landlubber sandwich of chicken parm. All the food was outstanding. It has been a while since we visited Rooney;s and it was an unexpected surprise.Sunday was a beautiful day and we sat at an open window enjoying the atmosphere. Everything, service, ambiance, value, etc. worked out so well. Will be sure to visit sooner rather than later.

Went here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant on the Avon Boardwalk that serves a great seafood dinner! Most boardwalk restaurants offer typical boardwalk fast food, this is not one of the those places!First of all it is located inside the Avon Beach Pavilion on the boardwalk with absolutely great ocean and beach views!Second of all, the food is fantastic without being pretentious! We shared their sangria marinated watermelon salad which was refreshing and savoury!For my main course I had the flounder sole franchise with linguine, delicious!The staff is professional, friendly and attentive.Lastly, as mentioned earlier, the ambiance of the surf and beach adds tremendously to the experience!Only a couple minor dings. First it is a BYOB establishment and they do not advertise that on their website, but easily rectified by a quick drive to Bradley Beach for wine or beer. Secondly, they do not accept reservations. It is a first come a first come, first on the list for the restaurant: which is a testament to their service and food! Lastly, they are only a seasonal establishment opening on Motherâs Day and closing the week after Labour Day.Great experience and hope to return this weekend.Thumbs up!

I was happy with both the atmosphere, the service and our meal.The waiter was so attentive and considerate.I would take friends here anytime and know that the selection is good, offering something for everyone. We got right in, with no reservation.
