I immediately liked this restaurant when we entered. The interior is mostly wooden and has a few maritime touches to it, for example large white sails attached to the sealing. However, it's not too much, so it still stays somewhat sophisticated.We sat down in a very cozy corner of the room and service was friendly, although a little pushy when we decided that we just wanted drinks first and preferred to have our meals a little later into the evening.The two members of my family who were with me both had fish and reported that it was very good - not the best they ever had, but great for the price they had payed (they had meals for around 10â¬). I just had chips and they were very tasty. However, I was quite disappointed as the size of my meal, as it was really small and not filling at all. To serve this to an adult was rather like a joke, as usually you get a big plate full of chips if you order them.I still enjoyed the evening very much as it is a very pleasant place to sit down, have a nice meal and chat. The location at Schaufenster Fischereihafen is great as well, it's lovely to have a walk there before or after your meal, although I think it must be much better in summer.

The restaurant serves awesome and mouth watering sea food. We had a family outing lunch and ordered Bremerhaven Special Filets, Roast Potato and Potato Salad alongwith Beer. They serve fried as well as grilled fish which were tasty and well done. Their rates are mid-range and the ambiance is excellent.

Amazing! Best seafood in Germany. Plate was only 8⬠an beer 1.50⬠parking is very convenient as well. In a small village on the port, and a fish market right next door

We took the 1/2 hour train(with a day ticket) from Bremen to see the sights of Bremerhaven. After seeing the tourist sights, we strolled the 2.4 km pedestrian/bike pathway down to the Schaufenster Fischmarket. We rested on the bench overlooking this port's 2 Tour Boats and inspecting the 2 live aboard schleppers before walking the long row of restaurants deciding on lunch. Reading the posted menus and seeing the many different fish choices, we had to find one with English translations. We chose Der Kutterfischer and joined 3 other seated couples in a fish net draped room with mortised and tenoned oak beams. The Bisque with Smoked Salmon, Steamed fillet of Haddock with Potato Salad, and a draft Becks was the perfect choice to split(21 Euros). Our attentive waiter and waitress spoke limited English, but handled the nearly filled restaurant when we departed to walk 2 km back to the train station.In all it was a wonderful day but we should have had more time for all the wonderful sights.

Restaurant dat Fischhus is specialised in fish, as the name indicates. They do offer great fresh fish at very reasonable prices. They also have other dishes, that are very good too. The restaurant is located in the old fish port of Bremerhaven. This is a very nice place. It is worth visiting !

My two friends and I visited during the bike racing weekend.Despite being very busy and us having no reservation, staff were welcoming, and found us a table. The service was very good. We all had Steak, which was excellent, despite the restaurant having a mainly fish based menu.Value was good considering the quality of the food and surroundings.I would certainly eat here again.

This is my no.1 recommendation for Bremerhaven. We went there without a reservation and only the bar seats were available. Wo took it and ordered a complete dinner for 3 persons. It was marvellous especially the herring starter with 3 different kinds of herring. I never have had something like this before!

Truly amazing experience. Fish was top notch, fresh and very well presented. The owner or manager is incredibly engaged with the diners experience and focuses on making sure your experience is as meaningful to you as it is to him. The staff is friendly, professional, and courteous. The food is delicious, flavour laden, and amazingly fresh. Look I know food, when one describe me most would say I look 14 months pregnant, not because Iâm a gender confused, but because I love food. So rest assured, when I publish a review itâs absolutely because my rotund ass knows where the good spots...and sadly this place wasnât good, IT WAS AMAZING. I thank the amazing chef, fantastic waitress, and top notch owner/manager, this place is a diamond in the rough. Thanks again to the TripAdvisor community for the amazing recommendation. Outstanding! I canât wait to come back.

I visited twice this year - in January on my own and in July with my dad. Both times the food was very delicious. We even tried the Smörgåsbord. It was amazing which variety of food they prepared. Natusch might be one of the most expensive fish-restaurants in Bremerhaven but it's also the best.
