A traditional seafood restaurant, located in the heart of Platamon. Ideal for those who love fresh fish, tasty salads and great wine. The position right in front of the sea is a great advantage.

We ordered calamari,mussels "saganaki" and sardines coal baked.Tzatziki and Dakos salad.Service was quick and polite.Atmosphere: Old traditional look tables and chairs Greek tavern classic and the summer breeze cools your face cause its in front of the sea literally!Dakos and tzatziki got first and both was good.If you ever eaten a Cretan dakos it's not the same exactly but its ok and good amount of portion.The mussels saganaki where served on hot tomato sauce and feta cheese without their shells and where very tastfull.I prefer saganaki with frozen mussels than the fresh ones cause they are cleaned up from the start.And they are a lot of cheaper of course.Sardines were baked on coal and cleaned up served on olive oil and oregano.Very nice dishes and good prices.

The location is beautiful. A private place next to crowded Platamon. The food was perfect and good size portions. The host Dimitris was very friendly and polite. The prices were normal. I suggest it to anybody that wishes to eat good food in a beautiful private spot.

I was mistaken to trust the few positive reviews and visit this restaurant instead of the others nearby.The setting is nice, service was friendly and efficient, toilets were very clean.The politiki salad was OK. Fried potatoes were a disaster, we left them in the plate.We had octopus on the grill. One tentacle was soft and the other one was hard to chew, like rubber.Obviously we were served pieces from two different octopus, cooked on different days.We had shrimp pasta at 22 euros a plate. Shrimps were frozen and the pasta was over boiled.We had fried calamari, supposedly fresh, but it was most probably frozen and cooked in the same oil they had cooked different food before, maybe fries? Couldn't tell for sure.The tomato salad was good.All in all, avoid this place and prefer any of the other three fish taverns right next to it.

We chose this restaurant because it was full of people (if a restaurant is crowded, the food is fresh and good). The food was very good, indeed, though the prices were higher than at the other restaurants. However, if you ordered something, it had no side dish, you needed to order it separately, and the waiters didn't bring the meals at the same time, which created a mess, because people ate on turns, and they ate the main dish, and the side dish separately, after a while. For example, we ordered grilled octopus and fish with fried potatoes and tsatsiki. They brought first one of the dishes, the grilled octopus, and tsatsiki. Then, after about 15-20 minutes, they brought the potatoes for two. After another 10-15 minutes they brought the fish. The potatoes were cold by that time, and one of us finished eating while the other was waiting. I noticed that the same thing happened at all the tables. So I wouldn't go there again, even if the food was good.

The staff are really friendly and helpful and we're especially good with our daughter who is not a fan of fish. They made great recommendations and were so helpful. The portions were huge and the prices were very good. We had so much seafood that we simply couldn't finish despite really trying our best - it was so good we didn't want to leave any but it beat us. On top of our orders, my wife and I were treated to complementary ouzo and all of us had free deserts of delicious loukoumades and ice cream. We would definitely recommend Psaropoula to anyone visiting Platamonas. It was a perfect end to our day.
