I have visited a few times and was not really happy. However, yesterday I visited John Dory's again in Riverside Mall. Lovely food, quick service, friendly staff. The Chicken Salad with Chick Peas and Lentils was fabulous and so filling, my Son had Calamari Tubes - loved it! Well Done, nice improvement.Dear Ingwe1957,Thank you so much for your great review. Had dinner with 2 business colleagues from Nelspruit at the Mediterranean Seafood restaurant at the Riverside Mall. Sat outside, nice and breezy until the storm hit. Ordered a Veg Platter, Seafood curry, and Hake Lemonato with Drinks.(R501.00)Well prepared and really enjoyed the meal. Good and friendly service from the waiters.Free and secure mall parking. Parking attendants escorted us to our cars with an umbrella for a small tip.

ADEGA, a portuguese word meaning cellar. An incredible restaurant in Nelspruit, South Africa. We spent a wonderful afternoon eating an appetizing portion of Bacalhau a Lagareiro and drinking South African wine that is as good as portuguese. A quality service and a friendly, well-trained staff. The environment and decoration remembering of some restaurants of the interior of Portugal. Affordable and well located. If you go through Nelspruit and like to appreciate a tasty of the best portuguese cuisine, this is the place to go. Do not hesitate to visit the Adega Restaurant.

We went here for Valentine's day. The service was horrible and for everything we needed, we had to go find a waitress. After complaining about this, we got an attitude from the waitress. When the food eventually came after a very long wait, the mussels were raw, the prawns were undercooked and the chips were stale. For a restaurant that has become quite pricey of late, this was such a disappointment! For an owner-run restaurant, I was very annoyed that the owner was nowhere to be seen on such a busy and important night of the year for a restaurant. We will NOT be returning here ever again.

We always enjoy the sushi at Kombu, which has a somewhat different take on the usual offerings and is always beautifully fresh. Would recommend the South African style varieties, featuring biltong and crispy chicken! Very friendly and attentive staff, but be prepared to wait a little while, as fresh doesn't come fast.

I believe there are two outlets of this restaurant, with one in Riverside Mall, and the one I was at in I'langa Mall. The URL seems to be for the Riverside one, but at least the phone number will help.

One of the consistently best places to eat in the area, the Mediterranean offers good value dining.Hosts Costa and Nico work very hard to make all the patrons feel warmly welcomed but the star is long time waitress Gladys.The menu is rather like a Greek meze - extensive and over-complicated but you cant go wrong with most of the fish and seafood.Rather noisy due to its decor and location within a mall.
