Absolutely not the best of the zone. Really difficult for us to order because nobody talk in english in this place, at the end he brought us fried fish, the same that we can eat in a China food market, and a bottle of Prosecco, worst we ever drink. 60 euro for this things, i think is really too much. I suggest to avoid it.

The best trattoria I have visited near Bologna in a long time. The fish menu is highly reccomendable. Fresh fish entre and homemade pasta with canocchie. Lovely setting. Fantastic panna cotta dessert. The meat menu is also top knoch. Passatelli in brodo to die for. Highly reccomend.

Whilst staying just outside Monzuno back in September we went to Ristorante pizzeria Giardino one evening for their pizza cooked in the pizza oven at the front of the restaurant - delicious. Many toppings to choose from, on large crispy bases. Whilst there, we saw many fish dishes being served - whole sea bass, sea bream etc so decided to return the next evening to try them. The fish was cooked in the pizza oven so came out soft and juicy on the inside, crispy skin on the outside - wonderful, and only 7 Euros/dish. The restaurant could easily be overlooked when walking past but once inside it opens up to quite a large dining room. Obviously used a lot by the locals - we were the only British customers - but made to feel very welcome. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend it.
