Medan is the gateway to the western part of Indonesia, accessible via the Port of Belawan and Kuala Namu International Airport, stated the city as the third largest city in the country by economy after Jakarta and Surabaya, this city economy is linked well with Malaysian cities (especially Penang and Kuala Lumpur) and Singapore by trade, service and natural resource exchanges. Both the seaport and the airport are connected to the city center via toll road and railway. Medan also became the first city in Indonesia to have an airport supported with train service.

A must visit restaurant for seafood lover, especially fish and clams. The fish is as fresh as it gets, well...some even are picked right out of the tank after you order, and straight to the kitchen and to your plate. Price is not expensive either. Highly recommend the Hongkong style, Teochew style and Nyonya Style steam fish ! And don't forget the Kerang Bambu Saus Padang (Padang sauce Bamboo Clam)...!

This Jumbo seafood restaurant in Medan serves very nice seafood dishes. We tried their Ayam Goreng Binjai, Udang Loncat, Asparagus and Kepala Ikan Jurung. All of those dishes taste very nice and enjoyable. Pricing is considered high, especially Ikan Jurung which cost very high. It is definitely a good place to enjoy seafood while you are in Medan.

The steamboat is simply fantastic as the ingredients are very fresh.Fried chicken is very crispy and mutton curry is second to none.Definitely one of best steamboat meals I have ever tried.

Sawasdee is the first and also the best Thai restaurant in Medan. Located in Multatuli St., not far away from Medanville Hotel. For foreigners, you could use google maps to track it downThe foods are delicious, the service is good and the price is reasonableOut favorite menus are fried chicken with pandan leaves, tom yam seafood, fish belly salad and pad thai. Dont forget to order sweet cassava with coconut milk as a dessert. Recomended

This is one of the best taste of Chinese food in Medan,considered as one of the oldest highend Chinese restaurant. The choice of food is excellent and the environment is very nice. That is the reason most of the customers come and come again and never feel bored with the food. Their favorite dishes are sapo tofu with crab meat, Binjai fried chicken, ifu fried noddles, and so on. This restaurant always cater for wedding and ceremony and have ample of parking area. Beside the restaurant, they do have guest house in the compound. This is one of my Chinese restaurant and always bring guests and family to enjoy the dinner.

Went there more or less by accident. Had rice with stingray which was excellent. The avocado drink. Service was great, they have a menu but I already knew from the photos on the wall what I wanted. Avocado juice was terrific, probably the juiciest I had in town. It's cheap, for around RS 50.000 you're filled up.

Where do I start? It's the perfect place for family or friends or lovers. Starting from the food, they have good food and a good place to eat. If you are looking for natural scenery, they have the perfect playground to bring your kids to play. They have a lake, they have bicycles, they have trains for small children, they have a natural landscape. Again, this place is perfect for families, and of course I will come again and again to come to this place.

We reached at 8pm on a sun for dinner. Crabs were finished. Fried rice would take too long. Dont have the tahucho prawns. Got pissed and asked to see the manager, then my dishes came automatically. I think the staff just dont want to cook!Food was very good. Loved the taucho prawns. Would go again. But i am never going to Medan again! Nothing at all!

Below average at best. Was the smallest crab i had seen. Taste was nothing great. Really average taste and presentation. Would never go here again. Bad traffic to reach the rest as well. But staff were attentive. Can you imagine, my crab arrived even while she was taking my order. Am wondering how that happened!No way is this the best. Lembur Kuring was wayyyy better!

we were expecting this to be a sea food resto but turned out to be a fast service dimsum cum fast food like fried noodles and nasi goreng. There was a long queue but moved rather quickly. once seated the waitresses shoved you with arras of dimsum, can be quite an experience to fend them off before you can settle in. overall it was ok and price reasonable.
