After a few nights of more formal restaurants we decided to visit Sax to try a local delicacy.... The panino con pulpo. Wine and locally produced real ale went down well, pulpo we loved and seafood pasta delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, would definitely go back.

We had mussels starter which was delicious and courgette stuffed with mint and anchovy which was bready and tasteless. This was followed by tuna tataki which was overwhelmed by the soy and was rather uninspiring. The pork chops with prune and chicory was ok. Our general feeling was the ambiance close to the kitchen felt canteenish, and the standard of cooking was consistent or balanced.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a restaurant upon parking close to the historic Centre of Ostuni. The view is perfect and al fresco dining area beautiful. Our waiter was first rate, attentive and lovely to converse with. He made excellent recommendations for the fish, which we could request to have raw or cooked in various ways (in the end we went with oven baked) and the light Puglian white wine which complemented the food perfectly. An excellent afternoon with first class service from a first class service and culinary team.

This must be the best restaurant in Ostunit, quite likely in the whole of Puglia. Every dish was inventive, beautifully presented, tasty and superbly cooked from the seafood to the pasta to the mozarella to the melt-in-the-mouth desserts. The staff were very friendly and efficient and (thank goodness) spoke perfect English. It's a small restaurant so you must book and it's one of the more expensive but you'll find it well worth it. We couldn't have asked for a better night out.

The beach club offers a proper sit-down restaurant, which is better alternative to other beach shack fare of sandwiches and snacks.Be mindful of the time though as they do close after lunch service.The communal shower service is great but there's no changing room other than the crammed bathroom.

The location is about 1/2 km outside of Ostuni and really not very inspiring on approach, but the dining room and ambience is lovely, and we had both the best service and best dining experience in our first week cycling around Puglia. The house antipasto is really imaginative and nicely presented. Both pastas we ordered were great. Secondi of grilled sausages and steak was very nice but too much food. Our server was especially good, she was attentive and helpful, unlike a lot of the indifferent service we've received.

I would never go to a restaurant called 'Holiday' in England it sounds as if it is very down market. But perhaps it sounds different to Italians.We loved the restaurant and will certainly return. We had very good service, the atmosphere was very pleasant, the position is superb right on the beach. But above all we had very good food and will certainly return next year.

This seafood restaurant is very good and a standard in Bari.The clams and shrimp were very good. The risotto was made to order (told it would take 30min) was excelent.Unfortunately the seafood pasta (cavatelli) was very dura, you just wish that it was crewable since the flavor and seafood was so good. The people at the other table left theirs on the plate too.Dear customer we are happy that you enjoyed the risotto as you have shrimp and clams. We regret, on the other hand, if the cavatelli were not cooked. He could have told us. We would have served another dish.
