We were a family of four staying nearby. Came here for dinner.The food was excellent but not enough of it and frankly expensive. Ten euros for dessert is over the top. 12/20 euro for starters and over 20 for mains. View of lake garda but we were in the corner so we couldnt see it.Staff were efficient but not as friendly and welcoming as other places.Wouldnt go back.

We ate here twice during our week's stay the hotel. Picturesque setting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The food is excellent and well-presented, with dishes we've not experienced before in Italy. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. The bill came to more than other local restaurants we tried but worth it for the dining experience. Hotel residents get a 10% reduction except on Saturdays. We dined here for a birthday meal. We reserved a table for 7pm. We were the first people in the restaurant and seated straight away. We ordered some Prosecco and beer and perused the menu. At once we noticed a 7 course tasting menu, enquirer could it be paired with wines ( it could) and we were in business. The food was excellent, the service prompt, but not rushed, overall just what you would expect from a high end restaurant. It is on the more expensive end of restaurants in Desenzano, but worth it for a treat, or special occasion. It was very busy, so booking would be advised. We have 2 small children and late dinners are impossible for us, but we saw this place along our drive with outdoor seating and a car park out front which meant we could leave our sleeping kids in the car beside our table. Our first relaxed meal on our trip! We took our time ordering one sushi roll at a time. Such a huge variety including sushi style dessert! Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. We thought the spray style soy sauce was novel but we didn't like the taste. We couldn't decide if it was watered down, contained fish sauce or what the difference was, but it didn't suit the sushi and when you're used to eating it with Kikkoman soy sauce, it was disappointing. Still a delightful experience in a very fuchsia (even the toilet seat!) and funky restaurant with great art pieces, jewellery and clothing for sale within.

Desenzano is full of touristy trap style eateries but this small, friendly and characterful trattoria bucks the trend. We had some superb fresh hand made pasta (I had tagliatelle with hare, my wife with porcini) - excellent quality and presentation - great selection of wines even though the house wine (a local gropello) itself was perfect. Really friendly and attentive service from Margherita the owner. Will return for sure next time in the area!

What a fantastic meal. We went for the taster menu. The food was exceptional with my favourite being the veal tongue.The staff were attentive and personable. We asked for a wine recommendation and after a few questions the young waiter hit the spot. The view matched the food and we loved the experience.Couple of suggestions....It was really hot, and there didnât seem to be any aircon... suggest a few fans to keep the air moving... the staff did very well to stay focussed despite the heat.Do something about the millions of tiny flies around the grass area. We are glad we sat inside.

It's a typical Italian pizzeria.Although it is very large and can accomodate a lot of people,the service is fast-when we were there it was full.We ordered pizzas,and they were pretty good,maybe had some kind of polenta or something dusted on the surface of the dough,which I didn't particularly like.Thumbs up for being pet friendly though!:-)

We had a lovely dinner and really enjoyed the romantic setting of the restaurant. Great service and friendly staff. Fine dining - every dish was beautifully presented and of excellent quality. We ordered a la carte ( although they have a nice fish menu as well) as we were keen to try the seafood platter. Very good wine choice as well. Definitly to be recommended.
