We went here a number of times, for lunch and early dinner mainly and wanted to review it. Difficult to find on TA as does not come under Las Galletas, but can only be found in "Tenerife"section, which is a shame, as more people would find it if it were in the local section.Unlike the unfortunate Danes, we found the service excellent - almost always we were served by Rachel (maybe Raquel) who was pleasant, efficient and spoke good English.Although described as a fish restaurant, as are all in Las Galletas, plenty of meat options, and daily specials.Definitely worth a visit

We were in an all inclusive hotel but couldn't resist the smell of fish and chips. It definitely didn't disappointFish was enormous. chips were brill. Soft buttered rolls yummy. Right at the end of the marina quay with great sea views. We couldn't understand why people were crammed into the bars at the town end when tables were available here! Tapas were excellent, and well priced. One of the best places we ate in two weeks: highly recommended.

Just had our evening fish and chips at The Golden Chip with my family. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food...amazing fish and great portions! Sat outside, the lady quickly arranged a table for our family of 7. Got a gin from the next door bar and soft drinks and English tea on tap from the fab staff. If youâre visiting Tenerife you must try this place. Made our evening. Went for lunch I had the sole my daughter had the giant prawns done on the barbecue. Lovely food and the service was very good. Nice quiet location on the water, very restful, will be back soon.

Varadero Viejo is by the sea, in Las Galletas. They have outdoor and indoor tables. They serve seafood and fish, with lots of typical Canarian food. The staff is very friendly and the price, quite reasonableThanks very much for your opinion

The pyramid. Famous and something you have to try. Perfect ocean view. The sound of waves and relaxing music. Friendly and professional staff. The pyramid, a combination of delicious salads. On top crab salad, not to heavy, fine taste. In the middle marinated gamba. Marinated in a oily garlic combination with fine herbs. At the bottom, tuna fish salad with a marvellous saus of sweet red peppers. If your looking for good food, by a real French chef, on the ocean, without any pressure. This is it. You won't regret it.

By chance me and my family stumbled upon this restaurant while having a evening walk on our holiday in Tenerife.We were instantly seated and I can only describe the service as âwe were treated like royalty.We were quickly given the wine/food menus which had a unbelievable wide variety which made it difficult to decide.after recommendations from staff we ordered and our meals arrived not long after.The food is by far the best we have ever had abroad.4 of us had the paella and wine deal,2 had the steak and wine deal and 1 had a pasta dish.the food was absolutely divine.so fresh and tasty.From the moment we arrived we was treated with 5star service.nothing we requested was any trouble and our waiter was unbelievably friendly and smiling constantly.even humouring my requests about the live lobster tank (ps hope Larry is ok) I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.we wish we had found it before we did as we would of definitely gone back.
