The atmosphere here is very eclectic!! Lots of outside seating with all types of paraphernalia. Its worth the visit just to look around. Its like a giant outside bar with tons of outside seating. They usually have some sort of band, karaoke or other entertainment. Also, since its open air, it is very pet friendly. When a customer came in with a dog, the staff would fill a water bowl for them. The food was really good, particularly the buffalo shrimp and chips!!

We felt immediately welcomed. While obviously doing a brisk business, each meal is prepared and presented with great care. The wait staff are genuinely caring....one even took the time to remove a ladybug from our table and take it outside. We've had four meals, every one was fresh and delicious. Krazy Fish presents a great value. Five stars for atmosphere, 5 more for great food.

On The Edge is a great spot to enjoy the view from a table in the sand, looking at the birds while enjoying the breeze. Requesting a table outdoors by the water, you can even eat without your shoes on. The seafood is quality. Service was a bit slow on a Saturday in late January, but it was an unusual circumstance of one of the cooks quitting the job. It didn't ruin the experience as the staff worked hard and a local musician did his best on the guitar. The place had a Jimmy Buffet-like feel, as this part of Fort Pierce proved to be highly hospitable. On The Edge is located right beside Hutchinson Island Plaza, which is a top-notch Florida hotel.

We have always enjoyed going to this restaurant, for decades now. Our recent visit was wonderful, as usual. The Happy Hour half price apps and discount on drinks was just an added bonus! We enjoyed the food, including dessert, and the service was amazing. The views from the restaurant are fabulous, right on the water watching all the boats go by. It doesn't get much better - give this restaurant a try when you're in the area!

Cobb's Landing Restaurant

It's been awhile since we've been to Cobb's Landing. We decided to go here for a Sunday Lunch. We had to move where we were seated several times because of the ceiling fans blowing just too much air. Some air is great, but when napkins blow across the table and hair looks like you just came off the speed boat, that's a little excessive. We finally settled at the bar and were served by Tara, who was excellent! The Chicken Quesadilla was just "okay", and I'd probably not order it again. The Turkey Club sandwich that my wife ordered was excellent! It was also huge! If we knew the size of it, we'd have just ordered the Turkey Club and split it.We didn't particular like the House Chips, but at least they were crisp.

Our party of three arrived with high expectations, but left disappointed. It is a beautiful setting on the water. The service was mediocre at best, as our waiter seemed less than interested in serving us. We did notice other staff that were much more on the ball with their tables. Certainly, though, the meals were not what one would expect. I ordered one of the most expensive items at $27, the steak and shrimp on pasta. I should have clued in that the so-called filet was going to come in bits and pieces when the waiter didn’t ask me how I would like the steak cooked. I got a bowl of pasta mixed all together with a tomato based sauce, a few shrimp, some chunks of tough beef, and cubes of blue cheese. To me, it had an odd flavour, and though I like blue cheese, it is not the right thing to serve in this way. But really, the point is that filet and shrimp on pasta has a different image in my mind than what we in Canada would call glorified Hamburger Helper. My wife had the conch chowder, which also has a tomato base. It wasn’t the most exciting chowder, for sure. And our friend had her heart set on the lobster roll — and believe me, a Nova Scotian knows her lobster roll. She wasn’t impressed. For a pricey $20, she said it also had some unusual seasoning and didn’t have that traditional flavour of a great lobster roll. Did we try to complain (and it usually takes a lot for us to voice a concern)? Yes, but our aloof waiter never appeared after the meals were being eaten. We did tell him after a very long wait for our plates to be picked up. We got, “why didn’t you tell me?” We gave up, paid our bill, and left. (And that was after we had to get him to redo for separate checks, in spite of telling him that at the beginning.). Couldn’t even see a manager around to talk to.

Just returned and we obviously ordered wrong. Really wanted a grouper sandwich and it was beyond dry. Under-seasoned, too...just really blah. The two of us who ordered them were very disappointed, as was my wife who ordered a burger that was overcooked. Why is it so difficult for restaurants with fish on their menus to get it so wrong? Must’ve been “b-team” Tuesday. When I mentioned it to the server, she said she’d mention it to the cook, but offered no other resolution. Service was pleasant but painfully slow. We may go back for the poke bowls, but I can’t recommend this place.

12a’s treatment of locals is horrible. This is the 2nd time this year of being treated or overlooked by this establishment. The first was in April for a wedding anniversary and the 2nd was today to celebrate our daughter’s birthday We told to pick anywhere she wanted to go and she chose 12 a, but once again 12a buoy failed. We had been waiting 1 hr 45 minutes and had several people that came after us seated before us, so I inquired. The hostess stated they were so busy that they put a hold on seating people due tdue to the kitchen being backed up, however they kept seating people. When I called BS, she then stars they did not have a table available I showed her the vacant cleared table that had been sitting there fvacnt for 15 minutes. She said I can let you speak with the manager, in which I said please. As I was talking to the manager they sat someone at the vacant table. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! Especially locals they apparently could give a crap about those who keep them afloat during the off season.
