My wife and I visited Nipa Hut in Newport for an evening meal with our friends.We were treated to a great welcome by the staff and chef who is the owner.The food is superb quality, a real taste of the phillipines at a really affordable price.It was great to try so many different types of phillipino food and I have to say that everything we tried was excellent.We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu !!Definitely worth a visit.

Popped in to the takeaway counter on Saturday lunchtime to get fish & chips for my mum and me. The prices have gone up and the portions and quality seem to have gone down since last time I came. Still ok fish and chips but not the X factor it used to have. Also do they have to employ the most sullen people to work on the takeaway counter.

Having been here before i was looking forward to a nice fish and chip meal. This time I'm sad to say that the meal was horrible. The fish was dried out so much that i had to leave most of the batter and the fish was also very dry. Most of the chips were very small and hard. This has put me off eating there again.
