Having not booked we were surprised to not only get a table but also some wonderful food and service. With only one member of staff serving and the restaurant almost full you would have thought that service could be slow but no, not only efficient but pleasant and smiling under obvious pressure. The food was excellent and well presented and well thought out. Had we stayed in Beer longer I would have revisited.

Great end to a day sat inside with Grandchildren and service and the food was excellent, Nicely cooked fresh and crispy batter and chips best I've had for a long time. The haddock was tasty and children's portions generous. A great end to a short break with the Grandchildren. Thank you will be back.

I was a little concerned by the price, until I saw the portion size... WOW! If youâre in the area, definitely worth a visit. Great, friendly service & amazing chips...Would definitely pop in the next time Iâm near by!

Went to the butchers block for the first time for lunch today with my wife. It was lovely! Amazing atmosphere and where the restaurant is located is beautiful. Terrific service and the food was devious. Lot's of a variety lunch time menu and there specials! Can't wait to go back soon. Also there is out door seating area so can't wait till the summer! Would recommend the burger or the toasted club chicken sandwich! YUM
