My wife and myself was looking for a seafood restaurant close by and as we were driving by we saw their seafood sign. It looked nice from the outside and there was quite a few cars in the parking lot, so we stopped in. We were seated as soon as we entered. The menu was large and the prices seem to be fair, so we ordered fast. I had the seafood platter and my wife had a fish dinner. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and friendly. The room is very open and decorated in a fishing village décor. We enjoyed our meal and will be back.

This was the worst Red Lobster location and experience weâve had. Third location now with unfavorable results. A Friday night visit at 7:30 with a sparsley filled dinning area should have been a good for service and quality. This didnt happen. 15 minutes to provide drinks. 30 minutes before having any biscuits as âkitchen had run out all nightâ. Hardly anyone was in restaurant. Three of the orders had wrong sides. Two served with nearly raw steaks. Several meals were cold while waiting for other meals to finish. Waitress had no idea who had ordered what and didnt check accurracy or completness of anything. Multiple trips kitchen to get orders correct. From time of order to receipt of orders was just short of 90 minutes. Manager appologized for the delay and how they mixed up the orders and food preparation. Offered to recook two of the meals but at 90 minutes no one was willing to wait again. We overheard another table complaining to manager too but dont know issue but heard same âno one is here commentâ. Appalling experience.We're sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with your meal at our Cayce restaurant and we'd like to learn how we can make this better. Would you be able to give us a call at 800-562-7837; MondayâFriday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET so that we may learn more about your experience?

While Captain D's does not pretend to be a 5 star establishment, the service we experienced at this location far exceeded what one would expect from a fast food type seafood restaurant or any similar quick service restaurant. The cashier was pleasant and very polite. The counter service folks happily brought our food to the table as we were just sitting down after fixing our drinks. They promptly took our empty plates as we finished our meals and asked if there was anything else they could do for us. While the food was excellent, the service was outstanding! I'm looking forward to my next visit.

This is a real old-time oyster bar! The shuckers do their job right in front of you, and they are experts. 2 dozen oysters, and not a single piece of roster shell! The oysters were big and plump, and were the best that we had in Columbia.

Had the half dozen raw oysters. Very small in size. Couple of beers. Served in a can. Bothers some on other reviews, but no biggie. That's how I have them at home. Tacos were great. All 3 of us had them. Pasta with added shrimp had tails still on. Odd for a place of this caliber. Our server hit all her marks but not very engaged like something was going on personally. Pleasant atmosphere, good service and good food. I met a friend for lunch. I wasnât too hungry so just had the soup. It was excellent. Parking was not a problem but could be. There is a public garage within walking distance if the weather is O.K.
