My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We read through at least 10 other restaurants on TripAdvisor, but this place seemed to have everything we were looking for. The place is very nice, lots of windows and ambient lighting. Our two servers, Jenny and Tony were great. Both were very kind and easy to talk to. They were extremely fast with filling our glasses and trading our silverware/plates. The meals we had will be remembered for years to come. The bacon wrapped scallops were the best we have ever had. The filet mignon's we each ordered were extremely tender and juicy. The seasoning was spot on. And then there was the side dish we shared...the lobster mac and cheese was unbelievable! The night concluded with a surprise dessert for our special outing. Very pleased with this place, not only do we look forward to coming back, but we will be sure to spread the word to friends and family.

There is outdoor seating with quaint umbrellas that is popular on any nice day. When we had reservations on a Friday evening we were not offered outdoor seating which was a disappointment.Our party of 7 had 3 appetizers of a plate of hummus and two large pretzels. Since I am not a fan of hummus I did partake of the warm pretzel.The german style pretzels came with two small containers of mustard which were good.Our server was outstanding and very attentive to our group. She was delightful even as she was asked to take a picture of our party . We were there celebrating a birthday. She was kind enough to temporarily adjust the window shade so the photo could be improved. She really is an asset to this establishment.I ordered the schnitzel and asked that the egg be placed on the side which was accommodated and very much appreciated. The schnitzel was a large portion but it was very dry. It came with 3 stalks of asparagus which were good. The spaetzels were fully coated in a tasteless gravy. The birthday boy in our group was offered a free dessert but he passed on this.The service was outstanding but the food was really fair . We wouldn't seek out this place again for an evening out.Thank you for coming in and we appreciate your feedback. We will look into your notes and make the appropriate adjustments. Fun, friendly atmosphere and love the outside patio seating. Went here for lunch yesterday and was so happy to see they offer 1/2 sandwiches with soup or salad. More restaurants need to offer this option of smaller portions. I had the turkey club and beer cheese soup. Sandwich was awesome! Turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce and cheese on top and bottom and the soup was delicious and you get a cookie!! My husband had the 1/2 lb mushroom swiss with fries and it was excellent. The mushrooms are fresh and the button mushrooms. Thanks for offering smaller portion sandwiches. Will be going here more and more often as they really do a great job!!!!

Want a Bloody Mary with half a chicken? How about one with a slider? You name it, they will make it for you. Out of the way, but packed on a weekday at lunch. Excellent service for our party of six. Menu choices adequate. Quaint. It will not disappoint .

Full review:Its an independent standing restaurant with plenty of free parking and access ramps.There is a bar area, and several dining areas away from the bar. The decor is boathouse meets Ale house.Staff: From the moment I walked into the restaurant the host, waitress, and even cook were friendly, and didn't mind adjusting orders, while paying attention to details.The food was freshly prepared and delicious with flavor. We had the house pull pork, mozzarella sticks, house burger, salad, fries and chicken wings. The picky eaters in my group loved and enjoyed it all. Tip 1) order the homemade cheesecake! Even if its to go, its amazing! Tip 2) if you tour the Millers Brewery first, they will give you a token for a free draft at Saz's. Enjoy! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! When in Milwaukee, Go to Oscar's for the Most Delicious Burger in Town. Don't let the neighborhood or the outside keep you away. It's a few blocks from PotowatomiCasino and Marquette University. Once there, the staff will treat you well. You will walk out of Oscar's full and happy! Order drinks, they never rush you out. Order an appetizer. I will suggest the Nacho's as that is a meal in itself. Then order one of the Burgers. The Gringo, The Big O, or design your own! They are made to order and are 8oz of Deliciousness. We order an extra party for each of our Service Animals that love Oscar's too. I forgot to mention that the prices are very reasonable. On most days Oscar will be there, working hand in hand with the staff to make sure everything is Perfect.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Even at 2:30 the place was packed but there was one table left. Weâve ordered take out chicken here before but never ate in the restaurant. Waitress a not too friendly and a bit impatient with our question of what beer was on tap. She threw down the menu and pointed to the list we missed on the back. Despite this, the food makes up for the indifferent service so full stars. Chicken on site is phenomenal as itâs super hot and crispy outside, juicy inside. Wings also good.

The brisket sandwich here is the best! The brisket is very moist and flavorful. The baked beans were so good with a great smoky taste. The special prime rib sandwich was also very good and the bacon balls were awesome! Service was very attentive! We will definitely go back!
