La Fera is located next to the reception area at the Mabalingwe main camp. There are nice views and limited outdoor seating.The menu has the usual types of options, breakfasts, a couple of salads, burgers and so on. Food was ok and reasonably priced. Coffees are not great and decaf is not provided; there is free (kinda slow) WiFi.All and all an option where there are not many alternatives.

We have enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant in Bela Bela.The pub is a popular watering hole for locals or visitors.The food is basic but deliciously prepared.Waitrons are very friendly and efficient with alert service of food and drinks.Cocktails are a highlight and the atmosphere is relaxing.If you have not heard of Mufasa yet come make a turn.You might just join a wonderful party of friendly people and listen to a local artist on stage entertaining an appreciative crowd.

During our visit to Zebula Golf Estate & Spa we had a great experience having lunch at the Thorntree Terrace, which is downstairs in the clubhouse. The ZEBU burger is simply the best burger Iâve ever had and absolutely to be recommended.

My wife was joined by a donkey that just broke through the side door on to the straw covered floor of the pub which was decorated with old South African flags. Not for the faint-hearted but if there is rugby on the tv then the locals open up like sun flowers. Certainly a different experience.

We watches South Africa's opening match in the rugby world cup, and the manager was kind enough to reserve a table for us with a good view of the TV. It was a rowdy load rugby match, but the beer on tap and the food was especially good. Succulent ribs in the platter for 3 and the biltong salad more biltong than salad. Really good value for money and a good vibe. Only negative was the smoking in the bar area.

The place has a relationship with Maroela Guest Lodge so my dinner was courtesy of the lodge.Its a different place from the norm.Its easy to find,about 2 minute drive from the lodge.They have these stuffed animals,LP's hanging from the ceiling plus pans...a great sushi bar and a kiddies play area.I had Tbone with pap.A great meal which I enjoyed. When in the area I would like to explore this place a little bit more.
