We ate here this past Friday and were greeted by a wonderful, cheerful greeter named Nicole. The place was full of patrons . The seating is quaint and the food portions were generous. We shared the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and almost asked for a box to go. Lots of variety of beers to sample and enjoy.

We often stop at Zaffiro's before seeing a movie. They have a nice menu selection. Our favorite "movie snack" is their homemade potato chips. They also have a decent beer selection. You can take a beer into the movie theater. The staff is always friendly. We like the atmosphere as well.

But you know the food here was excellent. I was kind of shocked to find grilled chicken sandwiches - not breaded. And the service was excellent too. It's regular bar food, but it was done well and we were well taken care of. The place looks like it needs an overhaul though...front window is broken and the bathrooms need renovating...but I will go back because of the food and the service.

Don't be deceived by the outside, and don't expect anything other than a great local bar with lots of character and friendly people. If you're expecting something more - or other - than that, this is not your place. Fantastic wait staff, plenty of flat screens, and pool tables. Very decent food with daily specials. If something isn't to your satisfaction, say so and they'll make it right!

Olde Brick House

My two sisters, two cousins and I decided to have a fun day in St Cloud. We strolled Munsinger Gardens and then chose to have lunch at Olde Brick House (I used Trip Advisor to find this restaurant!). The restaurant has a great ambiance and bar area. Very pub-ish. Several of our group love Irish food and were anxious to try this restaurant. My very favorite is Shepherd's Pie. Oh my, I loved every bite of it. Delicious! My Pie also came with a small serving of creamed cabbage that was excellent. Two small Naan rounds also were part of the plate. My meal was around $12.My sisters had the Guinness fish and chips. Both raved about the meal. My cousins had wraps and chips (the "chips" are yummy fried potato wedges) that they thoroughly enjoyed. Their meals were around $15. Suggestion:. Go to the restaurant's website. On the homepage is a spot to get $5 off your first meal when you provide your email address. We each did this. The $5 voucher shows up in your email within 30 minutes. Note:. The voucher is only good for 7 days and you have to show the manager your valid voucher on your phone. Hey, with this generous discount, leave your server a nice top!Our server was excellent. Really enjoyed the manager as well.I will definitely return to this restaurant the next time I'm in town.Thank you so much for the great review Lynn! Great recommendation to future guests on our voucher too! We will see you soon!

First off, I've visited this establishment three times. The first was decent, and it occurred when I had dinner there in July of 2017. Then I visited again for lunch and then later, dinner in August of 2018. BIG MISTAKE. I kept giving this place another chance because of all of the good reviews ... truthfully I don't know how it's possible that these are honest reviews, or that they are from people who know what decent food should taste like.Let's begin: I said that this place has an "inept kitchen" - why? First off, when I went there for lunch and ordered the Hummus with Naan bread, the hummus was passable, but instead of Naan they gave me raw pita bread. Need I say more about a kitchen that does not know the difference between pita bread and Naan -or assumes a consumer doesn't?But there is more ... when I went there for dinner I ordered the Thai burger and the waitress asked "Is medium-well, OK?" (Really?!!!) I asked if they could do it rare and she assured me that would be fine. But when I got it, the burger was well done (entirely gray and dry). Now, I would have been fine with ordering something else if they just couldn't do it rare, but they said they could, so I sent it back. The waitress took it back and then returned saying that it WAS rare. I did not want to argue and told her to take it back and just take it off the bill. A few minutes later a cook came out and asked me if there was a problem. I told him that there was no problem (and I just wanted to be left alone at that point). But he kept harassing me and decided to lecture me on why the burger actually WAS rare, because "the oyster sauce is brown and so it looks like its well done but it's not." ...(Let's pause for a moment. I am not even exaggerating about this. This guy actually tried to convince me that it was because of the "oyster sauce" ... yeah! ... Really! In case there is any question about this logic, anyone who has read this who has ever cooked a burger and knows anything about Oyster sauce, knows 2 things: Raw and rare hamburger meat is RED, and Oyster sauce is BROWN. If one cooks a burger that is rare, the red center is preserved. If one cooks a burger rare with Oyster sauce, then the red center has some brown in it. However, no where in nature does RED+BROWN = GRAY!!!!!)My cousin at this time smiled and laughed, knowing me and knowing that I have a bit of expertise in this area, and said to the guy "Just walk away, dude. You don't know who you're dealing with." With a sour-puss look on his face and a fake apology he did just that. Then another waitress came by and asked me if there was a problem - and at that point I was seriously feeling harassed and told her to just leave me alone. Now to the Front of the House, which I also said was inept. We were seated in a large table in the back of the restaurant. It was nice that they had such a large table to accommodate all of us, but the table was noticeably wobbly. When I asked our waitress if someone could look at the table to see if it could be more stable, she clearly knew the problem because she immediately said without checking, "No, we'd have to turn it over and take it apart. But we'll be sure to fix that AFTER you leave, for the next group, ha ha!"Yup. That happened. Clearly when restaurant staff know there is a problem with a table and yet it doesn't get fixed, this is a sign of poor management. But, when wait staff actually taunt customers about a faulty table to their faces, this is simply behavior that shouldn't be tolerated at all. When every aspect of a restaurant falls so far below an acceptable standard, clearly management is to blame. In conclusion: Don't believe the hype!!!! Once upon a time this may have been an OK restaurant, but now this place is nothing less than a disaster! But to be kind, I'll offer these points/tips to help improve:(1) Naan is VERY DIFFERENT than Pita Bread(2) Rare burgers are NOT GRAY under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES(3) Try to train your staff to be more courteous, or at lease tell them NOT TO TAUNT CUSTOMERS(4) If you know a table is wobbly and it will cause customers to spill their beers, FIX IT.Cheers! :)

You may call it "The Pint." You might even call it "CP." But whatever you call it, Crooked Pint Ale House will soon be your favorite place to get together over a cold beer and a hot meal. (Try one of our Lucys and you'll be hooked for sure!)

My kids and I ate here for dinner after school. The menu had a lot of options but definately indulgent bar food. The buffalo wings were a bit overcooked and did not have a lot of meat. Flavor was typical and overall fine. The bangers and mash was delicious! I ordered the reuben flatbread pizza. Oh my goodness yum! Unfortunately it was a special item for St. Patrick's Day. Hopefully they will put it permanently on the menu. I'd love to go back just for that!Hi Jennifer — Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! We are happy to see you had a good experience with us, we hope to see you again soon!

My husband and I had some time to kill one Saturday afternoon so we stopped in to check this place out. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and decor- loved it. The craft beer selection was amazing! The appetizers were soooo delicious! It was a 10/10 experience! The only thing I would recommend is to train your wait staff on the history of the building. Thank you so much! Can’t wait to return!
