The only thing missing was the sea view. The restaurant was really good and the modules frites the best I have had this trip. Very good lunch stop, highly recommended. Clean facilities (Certainly not guaranteed in France), good service, excellent value. What more to say?

Good variety of food available. We had moules and frites and a burger. Both meals were extremely tasty. Restaurant situated near to the beach area (Port Navalo) where you can take a lovely seaside walk before or after with parking available.When we visited the place initially was empty but literally after a few minutes it filled up with locals. That to me is a great recommendation.

Absolutely superb 'suggestion of the chef' - a white fish served with leeks and new potatoes. Great muscadet wine at an astounding price, and a lovely roasted pineapple with sharp lemon sorbet. Perfect informal atmosphere in this wine bar - restaurant. Buzzy friendly atmosphere, caring patron, excellent serving staff and convivial customers. Slightly breezy outside so we ate in the back room. Appears to be a back terrace as well as the front one overlooking the gulf of morbihan. Highly recommended. The patron was concerned he couldnt get us a taxi, so asked one of his staff to give us a lift at the end of his shift. What more could you ask for?

On market day St Gildas was heaving!!! The sun was brilliant and we needed a drink or two and to rest our feet. This bar was very popular and we had a beer and a cider. Despite the number of customers the staff were really efficient and the service was reasonably quick. Tables in the shade were understandably full and it was quite hot outside on the terrace but nevertheless pleasant and great for people watching on market day.
