Love it that the staff are not whisking plates away while people are still eating at the table. Instead, staff give you space to enjoy your meal and enjoy the company you're with. Meals are generous sized servings with plenty of options and accompanying side dishes. The bar offers a range of beers you don't find everywhere else, so great opportunity to try something different. The Corporate Moose offers plenty of space for small and larger groups, with comfortable seating which doesn't leave you feeling crammed in. Order at the bar and meals are brought to the table. A great vibe overall.

We went to the Gol Gol hotel for lunch because it is a lovely venue. My wife was after a light lunch and ordered the bruschetta. No love in it. Whatsoever. The turkish bread it was on was warmed, but not properly toasted. The topping was underwhelming too...maybe three slices of grilled capsicum, one crumbled square of feta and some cubed tomato and cucumber for two slices of bread. The cucumber and tomato were nicely cubed, though. It does normally come with Spanish onion, but we asked forvit to be left off (and it was, without any extra of the other ingredients being added instead of it). My lunch was the arancini balls. Quality was...meh. I was expecting a few arancini balls and a side salad. Instead, the dish consists of a huge pile of arancini balls on a few baby spinach leaves and a very sweet sauce. A silly dish really.

We were in Mildura for 1 night and stumbled upon this place. Menu was limited but you could also select from the bar menu. I tried the handmade pasta with locally caught yabbies which was delicious. Drink service was slow as they were short staffed but all the wait staff were friendly and helpful. Nice ambience and much better than the usual pub food.

Great place to sit down, enjoy the ambience. Food was great. Reasonable prices and excellent staff. On the banks of the Murray, it offered views of the river and ample parkland for the kids to have a run.A very pleasant experience.

Even though the restaurant was pretty empty and no one else came in while we were there, they made a huge deal about us not having a booking and that they were doing us a favour. Seemed weird to me. Apart from that the service was good and meal was good. It really annoys me that they use single use plastic straws when they serve their drinks in perfectly fine glasses. My drink came with two straws which was worse. I tried to talk to them about it and they said they were just doing their job. I would have appreciated that theyâd take to the manager, but that didnât appear to be an option. Back to the food, itâs what Iâd expect from this type of place and was good but not great. We only went there as it was across the road from our accommodation and it had been a long day. When we left it seemed quite expensive for what we got so not sure that Iâd bother with a return visit.

Love the place, the food and the staff. The rennoâs have made a big improvement and we like sitting outside with our two young children. Plenty of room for the pram and fast service for our toddlers meal. Only negative is there is no baby change table- or anywhere to change your baby at the venue. Had to go out to my car to do this as the staff could not offer a solution- disappointing
