Located next to the Sainte Chapelle Godeleine, the restaurant offers, in addition to a bar and creperie brewery service, quality food only with fresh products and local produce. The cuisine is modern and refined 100% homemade. Sandrine and Laurent welcome
Weâre old enough to remember a time when rural France was all about checked table cloths, basic menus and places that looked unremarkable on the outside but produced great food and ambiance on the inside. And this little café restaurant tucked away in the countryside between Calais and Boulogne delivers just that. Sadly they only appear to be open for meals on Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes. We visited when they had a big party in (factory workers reunion evidently). But it didnât affect the quality of service. No written menu â just 3 choices of starters and mains â my wife and I had delicious smoked salmon and then carbonade flamande. A ¾ litre carafe of very acceptable wine, a bottle of mineral water and a shared nougat glace (which was delightful) and the whole lot came to 40 euros. Madame la Patronne and her son were very chatty and attentive despite the place being really busy. Just a wonderful experience all round.

Our 3rd visit to this lovely venue. It is our guilty pleasure when we want something quick and delicious! We have also visited it's sister restaurant in Le Touquet where the food is equally good. Quite simply the best burgers ever!

Wife & I were staying overnight at the Chateau de la Marine on 18th Aug, couldn't find it so we stopped at the local bar/ brasserie Le Denacre and asked for directions - the barman helped us hot, sweaty, weary travellers & let us use the loo without having a meal or a drink (too tired!). So next day we went there for lunch & to give him a proper thank you . . turned out the chef was also the owner & we had the best best mussels I've EVER had (and I've had a few!) - small mussels, which make a huge difference, and the broth full of very chunky veg, onions & herbs - seriously, don't miss it if you're in the area! I didn't get their names but they're great guys & a great little bar. Merci beaucoup mes amis! You won't remember me but you'll remember the car!Fred Jones Cambridge UK (Mean Green '58 Chevy Impala)HelloThank you for taking the time to leave us a comment, in which case the host, it is with pleasure, we are in a small village, and it is quite normal to troubleshoot hikers in distress :), thanks for the recipe of mussels, and FYI, your car is placed in the log of our region, don't hesitate not a email me so that I send you the article! anyway thanks, because the right time was shared! your smile and kindness are also nice for us!hope to see you soon! friendly Manager

Went to this restaurant after crossing through chunnel mainly because of previous good reports. We were not disappointed with the quality and quantity. About 80 mussells for starters and 130 for mains ( I had starter and wife had for main!!). Friendly and amusing owners. From an English point of view this was a proper French restaurant. Would go again.
