We stopped at Balcon Turistico Restaurant on two occasions during our morning walk on the beach. On both occasions the restaurant did not seem to be ready for customers despite being open. On one occasion I ordered a beer and our server had to go to the local store for it. We tried to order some food, but, after 45 minutes we left. There are far too many good restaurants on the beach to deal with one with such tardy service.

We tried this place out, it should be popular with Canadians, what's better than wings and a beer? Sadly disappointed on both counts. The menu advertised beer as 1/4 or 1/2 litre sizes, so were surprised when we only got a regular bottle of beer when we ordered a 1/2 liter, expected a mug. We both had an order of wings which on the menu shows large veggie sticks with them. When we got our order, the wings tasted really good, but were the smallest we have ever ordered and the veggie sticks were just as tiny. Overpriced for Guayabitos.Gracias por su opinión, es muy importante para nosotros, respecto de lo que comenta en ella quisiera aclarar dos cosas, en Mexico los tamaños de las cervezas se distinguen en 1/4 y en 1/2 "cuartito" y "media" en nuestro menú no dice la palabra "Litro", en el mismo menú hay un apartado para la cerveza de barril "Draft Beer" donde ofrecemos tarros de 12 Onzas y de 1 Litro, espero esta información le sea útil la próxima vez que nos Visite, acerca de los tamaños de las alitas y palitos de vegetales, las imágenes son ilustrativas y depende de la percepción del tamaño que cada persona tenga, sin embargo estamos trabajando en mejorar los productos que vendemos en base a la opinión de nuestros clientes, tenemos los precios de cerveza más baratos en todo Guayabitos, y somos el único lugar que tiene promociones "especiales del dÃa" todos los dÃas por lo que pienso que el término "Overpriced" no nos describe, agradecemos su opinión ya que nos ayuda a estar en constante mejoramiento de nuestro servicio :)

Atmosphere was great being on the beach. We weren't lucky enough to have a clear evening but still enjoyed the ambiance. The food was very good and we didn't wait long considering it was a busy Saturday evening. The entertainment was excellent as usual just not enough room for everyone to dance.

Good prices. Enchiladas came covered with a lake of delicious melted cheese. This place has tv's to watch sports. You can order from the wing joint, the sushi joint, and Don Porfirios at the same time. Service was pretty good although still that slower pace one must get used to in Mexico. We also appreciated the complimentary bean dip.

Stopped here for light lunch and drinks. Initially service was looking good, gal took drink order but didn't come back for about 15 min's. Others that came in well after got drinks quicker? She eventually came back, did bring them late but place was not organized for busy lunch crows on market day. We were just about to leave when food came, way to long of wait for simple nachos and fries. Not the best quality, better places to go. Wouldn't return here.

This used to be our "go-to" place when walking the beach in Guayabitos. But I am afraid - no more. Their prices have skyrocketed. The 7 items on the food menu that have attracted our attention in the past have increased an average of 30% (including a 45% increase in the Club Sandwich and a 40% increase in the Nachos plate). The 5 items on the drink menu that we have ordered in the past have increased an average of 55% (including a 70% increase for the Michelada and an 85% increase in the Pina Colada. A beer has gone up 40% and a Margarita 46%. Patty makes the best margaritas in Jaltemba Bay. Always consistently good and prepared with quality ingredients. The shrimp and fish tacos are delicious! The ambiance is Mexican with some Canadian accents. Love this bar, love this place, can't wait to come back.
