When I read the former reviews, I couldn't believe it. So, despite this, I decided to visit the restaurant and get my own opinion.Considering the place is runned by the same owner, it's impressive how bad is the service.The waitress was completely lost, we didn't get our drinks until we asked 3 times after ordering. She kept coming back and asking if everything has already been brought, since only one person have received a drink. The dishes were served completely out of order, also after asking many times. The kitchen service was also terrible: I have had "me gusta" ceviche before, in Marakuthai, and this time, it was completely different with too much coconut milk on it. We also ordered pasteizinhos with brie and onion. First, we were given the meat ones. After complaining, they brought us the ones stuufed with brie but they were frozen inside! We ordered a dish of curated salmon but it was in fact a salad with rockets and about 9 small pieces of salmon on it.The worst part is that the other tables were also unhappy and the place was definetly not crowded. So, it's a pity but my opinion is that despite being a lovely little place with great decor, you should avoid it until some change in service is seen.

Fomos no dia em que chegamos na Ilha, e foi maravilhoso. Hambúrguer delicioso, cerveja bem gelada e o atendimento nota mil.Fica bem localizado na avenida principal da Ilha, e bem próximo do Centro.Vale muito a pena conhecer.Esperamos ter ajudado, grande abraço!!

Uma pena termos descoberto o local em nosso último dia na ilha, pois adoramos.Espetos deliciosos, cerveja gelada, atendimento cordial e ambiente familiar. Os preços são abaixo dos demais restaurantes e ainda havia promoções boas fora do cardápio (por exemplo, pagamos R$9,90 por uma cerveja que custa entre R$15 e R$18 em outros locais).Caso vá com mais pessoas, sugiro a Tábua dos Amigos, que é bem farta e custa R$55.

Ihlabela has lots of good restaurants but this one was particularly nice for several reasons: 1) it is right on the waterfront and has beautiful views in the daytime and the evening; 2) they have a varied menu that would suit all diners, but each dish seems to be personally prepared and seasoned to your taste. 3) The service was attentive, friendly, and helpful and a few even spoke English (although we tried to order everything in Portuguese); and 4) the food was delicious (I had a seafood pasta dish and my husband had one of their huge, freshly-prepared sandwiches). The prices were comparable with other seaside restaurants and even a little less expensive, I think. Great place! Highly recommended!"

The mandioca there is the best, but its the only thing I liked, service is terrible, everytime we wanted something we had to stand up and look for the waiters or just getting what we wanted asking directly in the kitchen, the restaurant just had two other tables and 5 waiters, all of them talking with each other and neglecting the tables

The food was absolutely amazing and delicious, as were the must have caipirinhas! Ask the owner for a recommendation and you will not be disappointed. The hostess was accommodating in every way possible, you feel welcome and special! With a beautiful view of the beach you won't be unhappy with your choice.

Myself,my husband and son had dinner there on a week day. It was my husband's birthday,a special night for us Jorge the waiter was very pleasant and attentive. My son amazed himself with Ben's toys (thank you Ben!) and they also played togehter. Food was beautiful and tasty, we were introduced to Gunnar (chef) and his wife Andrea, beautiful and talented people. View is amazing!We highly reccomend this place and will be back for more next year
