My wife and I were on holiday in Cannobio, Italy and decided to drive up into the Valle Cannobina.We discovered this marvelous little restaurant in Gurro. Simple Italian food, but lovely, tastey, and inexpensive. The local wine goes very well with the pasta dishes.The view from the restaurant is breath-taking so sit outside if the weather permits. The service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, if you chose to brave the narrow roads to drive into Gurro!

We went past Birra del Parco the week after it had opened. They had just closed unfortunately, but the guys invited us in to try some of their beer. The beer was great, and they even took us on a tour into the back where all the beer was brewed. Their enthusiasm was very nice, and I had a great time. I love the concept of creating great beer from locally produced ingredients, and will definately be coming back. Good luck!

Across the road from our hotel (Carlyle Brera) we ate here a couple of nights. The menu isn't extensive, but the wine list is great and it is frequented by locals. A very relaxed dinner and drinks if in the area and it is reasonably priced. PS: if you are craving a hamburger, theirs is highly recommended.

I have just left the Celtic house, better know as Guinness by the majority of the locals. This place is... wow! The food, guys... you would not expect to taste such delicious food at a pub. They offer a wide variety of meats, salads, pizzas and also the best tex-mex in the area.Tonight I chose a Prateria (buffalo and kangaroo meat) and all I can say is... go immediately there and try it! The food is prepared with extreme care, the waiters are very kind and fun and always ready to give advice on the dish of the day or on the beer that best matches your choice of food. This place is not one of the billions franchising fast-foods, here you can taste the passion of the chef at every bite!

Very wide choice of draught beers advertised on several blackboards all around the place. Every single beer is well worth trying!We didn't have food but all the dishes coming out of the kitchen looked so damn yummy! This is not a quiet place for a romantic night out with your special one but it's a very good place for a laugh with your friends... but be prepared: as they say "Al porco la birra non si assaggia, si beve" (at the porco you don't just taste beer, you have to drink it out).The menu is special too, i found it very funny.Waiters are kind and professional and, girls, you can definitely feast your eyes on one of them!If I have to mention the flaws, well, the place is quite noisy and after a night here you must quarantine your clothes due to the smell of food.

Impossibile trovare in zona un locale dove trovare un menù così semplice e ricercato al tempo stesso. Ingredienti di qualità , ampia scelta tra zuppe e piatti freddi, servizio âcasalingoâ, spazio bello sia dentro che fuori, si spende il giusto.Provare per credere.
