Best familiar restaurant for traditional Italian and Portuguese food in Cinfães, in the beautiful and unique region of Douro. Cosy, quiet, spacious and clean place. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent cooks, fresh and varied ingredients and homemade food and desserts. The menu includes a great variety of dishes, ranging from fish, meat, pasta, pizzas, noodles to fresh salads and vegetables. There's also the menu for the day, which includes bread and starters, soup, main dish, drink and coffee. Delicious dessert buffet only for 1⬠each person, including fruit! Children can choose from the kid's menu list.

Este estabelecimento é conhecido como ideal e especialista em cozido.No entanto serve também cabrito (por encomenda), borrego, arroz de enchidos, pizzas e muitas outras especialidades.Escolhemos o cabrito que estava divinal. O serviço foi rápido, eficiente e simpático. As entradas de presunto e queijo cumpriram o seu papel.Assim que o estabelecimento enche o ambiente fica um pouco pesado e quente em demasia.Devido ao volume de serviço existiu um ligeiro atraso na apresentação da conta.No conjunto um estabelecimento muito bom com comida regional de excelência e que merece a deslocação.Preço médio de 14,50 ⬠por pessoa com sobremesas.

Se for a Cinfães não pode deixar de ir à Tasquinha do Amado, muitos parabéns ao casal, proprietário do restaurante, não esqueceremos a simpatia com que nos receberam.O nosso grupo encheu o restaurante mas mesmo assim o atendimento foi óptimo, rápido e muito simpático, a tábua de entradas estava deliciosa e a carne arouquesa é de grande qualidade.Muitos parabéns, recomendo e espero voltar (até porque fiquei de voltar para ir comprar mel).

Just had lunch here. We sat upstairs on the balcony. The combination of good Portuguese food and an amazing view of the river makes this lunch 'as good as it gets' Lovely staff made us feel really welcome. We will be back!!

We wanted to visit a restaurant next door, but it was fully booked so we ended up here in O Rabelo. The waiter was very nice and talkative guy, in fact he was the biggest plus on the whole dining experience. Food was just average. Steak was big and quite good. I've had better, I've had worse. The interior is not very nice and it lacks any atmosphere. Overall - if you just want to get a good meal at very good price - go for it. If you're looking for something nice and bit special, keep looking.

We ate a "posta arouquesa" which was wonderful. The house red wine is just great and is a very good companion to the meat.Starters and dessert were also very good. Nice and helpful staff.

We stumbled on this place whilst doing a motorbike tour of the Douro valleyIt is really good, the rooms are well appointed and really clean The pool is excellent and the gardens are lovely and immaculate and nothing was too much trouble They have secure parking for the motorbike (not that you need it as the area is so quiet)We ate in the restaurant and it was absolutely excellent - we went for the local dishes of lamb etc which was first class and really tasty and the house wine was top quality - also Gluten Free was easy and well provided for both at dinner and with bread at breakfast the next dayThe girls that worked there were lovely and were really helpful and we had a long chat with the young lady who owned it and she was delightful and so helpful in helping us choose where to travel next in Portugal (with her help we chose Obidos)Thank you for your stay and for the comment.I hope the tour went well and you enjoyed the suggestions.greetingsAlexandra
