We came in the afternoon with our 3 kids. The salad with bacon, tomato, and shredded oscypek (mountain sheep cheese) was delicious and beautiful with a nice light herb vinaigrette dressing. The meat stew was hearty with lots of chunks of meat and a couple potatoes. The oscypek appetizer was also delicious and nicely presented - 4 slices of the cheese grilled with a side of cranberry preserves. We sat outside, and the tables are covered with a fun animal trough holding up the shading. There is a little house off the side of the outdoor seating for kids to play in - we brought a couple of our own books, and the kids enjoyed reading them in the “little house.”The service was a little touchy - we had to ask for the bill 3 times before my husband went inside to pay. Still, we’d come again for the food.

I would without question have given this restaurant 5* but for a an unpleasant welcome we recieved. I called in the day before to see what time they served food until and was told 10pm. After clearing with the manager that 9.30 would be fine to arrive I left lookimg forward to returning. On the saturday however we arrived at just after 9.25 and due to a delay in some customers paying their bills, we were'nt actually seen by any staff member until 9.35 at which time the manager said we are finished now, you are too late I explained we had been there in good time and actually had to force him to check his reservations book for our name before he would accept us, which he did reluctantly!!Like I said after the that, the food, service and location are all wonderful and we enjoyed our meals a lot. However we left feeling a tad disappointed. We would return

We went to this restaurant twice during our trip to Zakopane, it was that amazing! They offer a wide range of authentic Polish meals that don’t break the bank! The staff were particularly friendly and helped us pick the most tasty and satisfying meals. The traditional live music also adds to atmosphere. We would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant during your trip to Zakopane.

Located on 3rd floor right on Krupowki walking street, this cafe/restaurant offers very good culinary experience and great views. We stopped by for breakfast and went for two sets, which were very tasty indeed. Tried two cakes, these were very good too. Prices maybe on the higher side, yet it’s worth paying bit more for quality food in a very pleasant ambience.

Excellent food! We had the pork roast wrapped in parma ham with a risotto and cream mushroom sauce. OMG! Some white wine, and then an incredible dessert finished off a top notch meal at reasonable prices. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. We met a local in a bar who highly recommended this restaurant, and we owe him big time! Don't miss this place!

Ever the skeptic, we were wondering if going to the #1 stop with a pricier menu would proof to be a touristy option/ trap. We were glad we went ahead because truly, this is one of the best meals we had in our life. How long more can this restaurant be kept a Zakopane secret I’m not sure. One day the Michelin judges will come and bestow them with stars. The mushroom soup special, scallop for starter (BEST), and apple pie dessert were perfect. My partner and I will be talking about this wonderful meal for years to come.Thank You very much for Your opinion and please free to visit us again. Best regards!
