We fell in this cute little restaurant along ShanganiStreet, Stonetown...looking only for a seafood snack the friendly owner Phillip at once offered alternatives in size of all delicious dishes. The taste of f.e.lobster and octopus was amazing, africanstyle and very yummy. The interior Design of that place is stylish, modern but uniquly African. Remarkable is the friendly and modest way of service.

We stayed at Natural kendwa for two nights and dined at La Fontana on both evenings for dinner.Amazing pizza!!! Variety of foods to choose from. The staff are also amazing, attentive and always making sure you are nothing less than satisfied.Apologies for no pictures, i was too busy enjoying the food!Do pay them a visit, you wont be sorry!

Stopped in for lunch with colleagues, generally an ex-pat sort of hang out. Ordered the mixed-seafood tagliatelle, excellent flavors, but oddly lacked any "whole" looking seafood, mostly chopped. Also got to taste two different pizzas, both really good but could have been a bit crispier. They tended to both be a bit heavy on the toppings making the center crust soggy. Friendly staff, nice inside and out.

I knew about this place from trip advisor and tried it on the same day....it is one of the best restaurants...the food is tasty...i tried the pizza and the meat pie...as for the desserts, they are out of this world...I tried the lemon cheese cake and the pie I even had 2 more for take away...even the fresh juices were extremely delicious...a must try Thanks a lot. We were a bit tired of seafoods, Indian and Swahili cuisine so we looked up where we could eat good pizza, and there are several choices out there , we chose this one since itâs the closest to our hotel. But oh boy, we got lucky this time with out relying on any reviews or hotel recommendations etc... The host was friendly, the head waiter was very accommodating and atmosphere was very good. The entrance is filled of spices and gift items you can buy for your people back home. Then you come to a narrow staircase, the landing areas were nicely decorated and the restaurant itself with the tea room or lounge area. The highlight though was the pizzas we ordered, proper pizza oven, the experienced and friendly -Ali- who prepared the pizzas for us. Highly recommended for pizzas when youâre in the area of Stone Town. Five stars for the staffs and the pizza.We will definitely drop by for pizza when in town again.

We went here twice when staying nearby. The food was always, hot, tasty and fresh. The house wine was ok (cheap n cheerful) and everything was good value.The decor was simple and the view of the ocean is beautiful.. I would definitely recommend for a simple pizza/pasta meal.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza here - as good as I've had in Italian restaurants in cities in Europe.Lovely setting, overlooking the sea from a slightly elevated dining room which is airy and bright.Fairly (comparatively) pricey compared to some other places along the beach but a great place to visit when you want a break from seafood and local dishes.Friendly, efficient service, too.Many thanks for your nice review on our restaurant service and food quality. I can't believe the best restaurantin Jambiani clearly chooses to violate the law and allow smoking at dinning tables despite our complaints.DISGUSTING!!!Dear guest,First we thank you for having dinner at our restaurant twice.Regarding the smoking, first our restaurant is an open restaurant, second we cannot prohibit smoking while in many restaurants on the Island is allowed, this because Tanzania has no any law that states the prohibition of smoking at restaurants, but is the case of discipline, an individual him/herself to understand that smoking can be annoying and troublesome to others. About the complaints, we didn't receive any complaint about this, but i we do for any troublesome or problem, taking action on it is our first rule.But perhaps we will take your review as an advice for our restaurant.Thanks.

We went to this restaurant 3 times and each time we had really nice food and service. The fish is fresh, tasty and well cooked and all the ingredients are locals, showing that is an ethic business. We really appreciate that they donât use too many plastic bottles encouraging the clients to get the jar of water to reduce plastic pollution. Everything is home made, even the pasta, which is amazing. We stayed at the hotel next to it so for us was perfect but the nice thing is that we could see many many people from other hotels in the area coming to have dinner at the Bistrò! The owners Salvatore and Roberta take care of every little thing and they make sure that every details is perfect. The location is elegant and modern with a touch of Zanzibar style. The service is friendly and fast (something difficult to find in Zanzibar)! Prices are really good especially for quality of the food and location. We had such a great time and great food! Your words are so sweet like you, dear francy.....We try to do our best every day to give a good service to the guests and we are so happy to host guests from all the hotels of Kendwa and also from other cities.
