I had been wanting to go to Scopa for ages, so was a bit underwhelmed. The food was lovely, but the tables are squashed in together so difficult to have a conversation. They were obviously rushed this night, and we felt like they were pushing us out the door so they could accommodate the next group. The wait staff kept changing for our table, so we kept getting asked repeatedly if we wanted more wine, even though we had already ordered and it hadn't arrived. I wouldn't rush back

The staff were amazing!! The guy with the bowl haircut was tops! The wait for food was a bit longGarlic bread: totally recommendArancini balls: decent (I like mine with mushrooms)Conchiglia Verdura: yum (although was wanting risotto but theyâd run out)Too full for dessert but the doughnuts looked delish.Iâd definitely go back for the garlic bread and to try their pizzas.

I am Italian, this was our go to place in Welly. In the last couple of years it has gone downhill, the food claims to be Italian but the food is of sub standard and the service is slow, not great with children.Hi Chiara, You came on the 2nd of June to celebrate Italian National Day. La Bella Italia was full of children on that evening. We are renowned for being excellent with children. That night Lilian, one of our best waitresses, attended your table. We get so many compliments from customers regarding her manner with everyone, especially with children. You came in around 5.30pm and left at 7.15pm. We had 140 people booked plus walk in customers. In the last two years La Bella Italia has received a number of awards for the authenticity of the food and the experience we offer. When the staff who was on that night read your review, they were quite saddened as they remembered you fondly - how you greeted them at arrival and leaving. At the till you were asked if everything was okay and you did not say anything to the contrary.To finish: You are Italian, we are Italians too and we work hard everyday to offer a true Italian experience to everyone who walks through our door. We are very proud of the authenticity La Bella Italia is known for.

We are at Cin Cin Italian Restaurant in Wellington, New Zealand during our Guided Tauck Tour! We shared pizzas & had lots of the local beers! The Servers were delightful, very helpful with the selections on the menu! I would highly recommend!

My sister told me they have great pizza. I agree. It was really good, except the pizza base was a bit burned. A little too burned to fully enjoy it. Otherwise it would have been great. I have to try again and hopefully it's perfect next time. It's a shame because I live in ChCh.Hi there, our pizza does have the wood fired black blistering typical of Italian pizza, but should not be completely burned. Iâm so sorry you werenât able to let us know at the time and we would have been very happy to replace it for you, as mistakes can happen.
