The restaurant, hard to find, is comfortable. The menu is limited but each and every dish we ate was extraordinary delicious and well presented. The tuna is absolutely divine. There is a research of excellence in this young crew, chef and service, creating this unique experience. Eating here in a pure pleasure, happiness, bonheur. The presentation is great, but over all the preparation, the taste and the flavor create a wonderfull dinner, more than a dinner, memories. They take great care of you as much as the food served to you.I cannot praise enough Chef Andrea and his small team. Mille grazie

Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Food is cheap so couldn't really expect anything special. Definitely wouldn't go again.

Four of us enjoyed lunch sitting outside yesterday. We shared two antipasti- a vegetarian and "house". After that a very different carbonara made with chick peas and a spicy Viterbo pasta. We were pleased we had room for desert as the ice creams were absolutely delicious. Home made. Good selection of cakes and pastries too. Very nice service from our helpful friendly waitress who spoke good English (and some Spanish too as she was able to chat to a table of Spanish tourists). This somehow still feels like a place for locals with men putting the world to rights over a coffee, a resident cat who likes sitting on your knee and families popping in for an ice cream. Inside is huge and we hear the pizzas are excellent. We had lunch here after a super morning at Villa Lante and the extraordinary Gardens of Bomarzo - il Parco dei Mostri.

I was hoping to find a good typical Italian trattoria in the countryside with tasty food and I was lucky to meet La quercia marta on my way.Precious food and nice staff.Definetly to recommend and come back on purpose!!!

When you stand in front of the building you wouldn't bet that it is so nice: it looks like a run down house on a not very flashy piazza. But it has pleasant rooms and a vast garden, protected by a tent roof under a enormous tree. I went there several times during a week that I spent in the area. I found every single dish, from starters to dessert quite convincing. It seems they wouldn't offer you a second rate ingredient. The service was amiable and always ready to explain things patiently and with a smile to a voyager whose Italian is far from good. Whether the prices are relatively high I cannot decide, for a guest from north of the alps they are for sure very reasonable.

This place is nice with a nice vibe good staff. Food is good and well prices compared to other places and settings around Rome. Don't get me wrong it's not cheap but for what you get and the options to eat inside or out in the canopy is nice. Averages spend per person with starters and a drink is â¬20. Had some starters and 2 pizzas. They do burgers and all sorts. Nice overall. For me a 4/5 place. Unfortunately the pizza/sweet and service left a lot to be desired. We all have bad days but the lady who I imagined was the owner was having a terrible day! Service really let our dinner down.

First I would like to say that we enjoyed the beautiful setting and the most attractive country restaurant itself, part of a stone building just outside the elegant walls of Vitorchiano. Quite often you wait for hours after turning up as we did, for a 2 pm lunch on Saturday, but to my surprise the service was kind, fast and efficient. I would really like to have found a mark for the food at this restaurant that could be considerably more than 'average' and a bit less than very good. A plus for the originality, regional ingredients and choice of dishes on the menu, and a minus for the (hopefully temporary) excess of overcooked or over-used olive oil with minute black specks in it that came with both my polenta and ceps and the meat dish. ( as a small-scale producer of olive oil, I know what it should be like). Apart from this, everything we ate was excellent, slightly unusual, well presented and served, and I would eat there again with pleasure. A last tip: switch the light on in the W.C. before you close the door and are plunged into total darkness!

The restaurant was a little difficult to find as it is inside a shopping/cinema complex. We had a little trouble understanding the menu, but the staff were very friendly and did their best to help us. The food when it arrived was very good and reasonably priced. Would recommend.

From the front, very misleading. Looks like a hole in the ground from the front. It just blends in. As a unknowing tourist you might just get stuck there on the ground floor and just be happy with the fantastic food at a really good price. But the trick is.. to make it really special, find the back door, and find the basement that is under the basement. Really Romantic.
