Hands down the best pizza we've ever had by a long shot. Seems like non- locals have a bit of trouble with the ordering process, some not realising they're delivery only. We managed to order a vege pizza and friareili and sausage pizza in broken Italian with help from Google translate (it wasn't too much trouble as the guy's English was miles better than our pathetic Italian). We devoured both sitting on our hotel bed and thought we'd gone straight to heaven. The distinctive flavour of the friareili and sourdough-like texture of the base was just sublime. On our last night in Siena we called again to place another order but this time unfortunately were advised they were busy until 10pm! Their service is definitely inconsistent but it's worth the effort if you can get to try it. It literally redefined the meaning of pizza for us.

Unassuming Osteria/Pizzaria. Lovely welcome from friendly staff. Very nice menu, nothing flash, but good selection of antipasti and pasta and pizza. Good house wine and prosecco. Nice outside seating. The food was all very good and the service remained friendly and also efficient. Everything was all as you would hope for in a small and local restaurant - and then the bill turns up and it is just superb, and I mean *outstanding* value. A restaurant that deserves support. Give them a visit!

amazing restaurant in top of a private lake Surrounded from some of the best vineyards of chianti classico. Fonterutoli mazzei e rocca delle macie. you can book a table in a fantastic Floating platform on the lake, or in the table all around the lake. kid

We were fortunate to be guests on wedding which took place in ValleChiara. This is absolutely gorgeous place with original Toscan view, but what makes it truly special is the lake. Restaurant is just in front of the water. We have enjoyed this gorgeous night with beautiful sets and stunning food: we have tried so many dishes which are piculiar for Toscany. And great wine of course!

The menu features a number of quality and delicious items.Plus...very good service - in fact, Daniel heard us talking about spending time at a local winery for tasting and lunch for the next day. Good thing he did because he recommended Brancaia which turned out to be fantastic. Thanks Daniel!Our group tried several different items off the menu - and everyone was quite pleased.A nice selection of wines too!

Relatively simple menu (only pizza and few starters and pastas), limited selection of wines...pizzas in the many are only as pizza for 21 - and itâs really at least for 2 (initially, I played with the idea than I might take one for myself being hungry...fortunately, I didnât do it - itâs really huuuge). I wouldnât call it best pizza in Italy, but this place really is its charm, being small family run place, so if you get bored of âmushrooms, wild boar, truffles and long list great wines in the menuâ and you are looking for some place with simple menu, very fair prices - I can only recommend

We had lunch here while staying nearby and really enjoyed it. The food/wine was good/reasonably priced and the service excellent. The outside location was good as it was a hot day and we were very comfortable.

My wife and our three daughters have just had a fantastic dinner at Il Locale Di Guido. My wife and I shared a 1kg Fiorentina Steak, 2 daughters had Filet Steak and the little one had local pasta. We had a small bottle of wine and desserts. Everything was excellent. The service was great too. The entrance to the restaurant is a little peculiar but the dining area itself is lovely. We highly recommend.
