I was in my father's native birth place, and had the chance to eat at Le Metamorfosi in Sulmona, it was the most amazing food experience ever, Massimo is the greatest chef, the food tasted better than expected. GRAZIE MASSIMO!!!!

We ate here one night when my friend had pizza and I had beef. Don't do beef here as it is not good as I expected when I made this stupid selection. The salad was good and my friend's pizza very good. I stole a bite.

The service, food & atmosphere here is simply great. The staff are extremely friendly & the pizzas are some of the best I've ever had. Prices are very reasonable and there is a great selection of pizzas & antipasti to choose from. One of the best restaurants in Sulmona!

Located in a beautifull town square and has all location benefits to be a total winner. We went for dinner and ordered pizza and some starters. Pizza not good, dough was under done and not crisp enough. Starters (brusceta) was ok but too bland, either ingredients were not the best or no soul was put into cooking. Some of the items we ordered never arrived, even so we got charged. So had to ask for refund.

If you pop in this small pizza place and you're lucky enough to find a table, just sit and wait. Try any of the pizzas on the menu, they're all tasty and light, but must be eaten on the spot, while still warm. The young waiters are very kind and the owners/cooks will welcome you in a friendly way. Prices are definetely reasonable

We just returned from a 16 day tour of Italy in five different places and out of all this restaurant had the most gorgeous atmosphere. The outside dinning is just exquisite and lovely. I highly recommend eating outside in the evening. The lights are just lovey. The food is also delicious. The lamb skewers are so good - we ended up placing three additional orders! And the mojito risotto was mouth watering. The wine was also so good. You must eat here if you are in a Sulmona.

The pizza restaurant in a central location which becomes great during the Giostra Cavalleresca (jousting tournament). There is a large selection for pizzas, wines and local beers. I took some fried cheese and a pizza margherita with buffalo mozzarella and crust filled with ricotta cheese. Good, tasty but nothing special... overall good service

From the very start was warmly welcoming. The tantalizing smells were surpassed by more delicious tastes of the many pizza choices. I tried several over a 4 day stay. Always the current one became my favorite. But the friendliness of the staff could rival its tastiness. There are many pizzerias in this beautiful town but don't waste your time--THIS IS THE BEST!

Che dire come prima volta mi sarei aspettato qualcosa di più!Bisogna subito dire il giusto...posto molto molto carino ben curato e con un personale eccellente oltre ad essere gentilissimo! Ci sediamo per una pizza e dal menu scegliamo una pizza gourmet come loro la definiscono ma una volta arrivata non è proprio così...buona come impasto ma su una Margherita e dico Margherita dove si va a mettere una burratina insapore prima di gusto non si può pretendere di pagare quasi 10⬠e definirla gourmet! Mi dispiace perché ci si aspetta di più da un posto così.Peccato.Chissà che le altre pietanze non possano meritare molto di più.
