This wonderful restaurant is located just below the Castle of Sarriod de la Tour on the main road. Excellent cuisine and prices very reachable. The owners were very friendly and even served us on our late arrival on a Sunday night. Perfect
This restaurant is mainly a pizzeria. There are other items which we did not try(except a mixed salad). We were told it was the best pizza in this small town. It proved to be excellent.(Forno a Legno) Our waitress was a little brusque but warmed up as we progressed. They do a good take-out business, which is good if you want to avoid the coperto charge. The carafe of water was tepid(she may have thought we should buy the water). We ordered a house red wine which was a dolcetto, and not very good. I recommend that you drink beer if you go there(most everyone there did). The beer is better beer than the wine is wine. If you really want the wine, choose it carefully. We were asked if we wanted it "frizzante" or "normale-" the latter seemed better to me, but I don't know that for certain . A matter of taste.

We stopped off overnight at a little "hotel" in Aymavilles (just the Italian side of the Mont Blanc tunnel) during a motoring trip from the UK. This restaurant just happened to be 100m away from where we were staying so it was the obvious choice as we were pretty tired and not too keen on a long search for anything else. Well it turned out to be delightful! It wasn't at all busy - as you'd expect in November, so we had the full attention of the waiter. The service was excellent as was our pizza. I asked for a glass of "local red wine" - which, as it turned out, was produced pretty much next door! Exactly what I'd hoped for. The sweet was equally as good. The place was very clean and smart by the way and the waiter spent lots of time with us using his limited English plus his smartphone to help us understand the menu. All in all we were very pleased so the place gets top marks from us. Oh, and it was very reasonably priced as well!

This is a very basic, simple place. The owners are from Southern Italy, and it shows -- they only make pizza (in a wood oven), but their pizzas are truly delicious. My personal favorite is the valdostana pizza, qwith local Fontina cheese and ham. Yum!Another positive note: the check for one pizza and one large beer will be less than 10 euro - hard to beat, isn't it?

Not sure if I should be sharing this because I don't want la Pineta to get crowded. Absolutely incredible lunch. All patrons ate same food at same time, can't remember the number of courses but included anti-pasta, pasta, first and second courses and a wonderful dessert menu. Home cooked, no fancy trimmings but tasty, hot, filling food - no other Brits for miles around - and all for 20 euros! Meal started at 12h30 and we left about 14h30. Well worth the trip out to Ozein, Amayvilles - about 20 minutes outside Aosta towards Cogne. As they say in Italy, gnam, gnam!Good for kids and grandmas too.

We've had a lunch and one dinner in this place.I think the best is the customer service, the food is only average.I've tried pasta, and gnochi and although both were quite good, there were not anything spectacular... If you have no-where else to dine then go for it, othewise try other restaurants in Arvier or in Aosta..

Authentic place (It is a huge success with local people) with almost 100 types of pizzas in the menu. The local families dinner here mostly and therefore the place is not very quiet due a lot of kids. The pizza & deserts are superb!!!If you are pizza fan, you should visit this place definitely !Avalon is on my list of favorites pizza now, I would go there again.

Anywhere in the world I would consider these pizzas great, but in Italia and certainly the Valle D'Aosta I've had better, for a better price. Now, that's fine, they are still ok. The service though must have changed with the new owners. They didn't have all the ingredients for the pizza I ordered (I overheard them talking about it, as they didn't realise I understand Italian) but instead of informing me and/or asking me to make a different choice, they just made it without the meat. (not a small difference). Most of the desserts off the menu weren't available either. The coffee we ordered also never came. So food: food, service: poor. And they add 2euro/p cover charge offcourse, as one of the few in the region...

L'Oasis in Villeneuve is a great restaurant where to have a good dinner while watching the sunset. Make sure to book a table on the jetty and sit side by side facing West to have a great view of the lake, the Swiss and French Alps, the Château de Chillon and the Riviera vaudoise. They have great perch filets and the service is fast. Don't be surprised when you get the bill: everything is expensive in Switzerland. Bon appétit!

Very friendly and welcoming staff, explaining certain dishes and happy to help towards intollerances. Selection of salame and cheese with a foccacia, absolutely lovely. Homemade gnocchi were fantastic, the duck was overcooked which was a shame but it's not an easy meat. Meringue seemed shop bought and honestly awful, quite disapointing Typical small village restaurant with simple food, average priced.

Pizzeria on the side of the ss26 Street in Arvier, in the middle between Aosta and Courmayeur. We are here from 18 years to serve you a tasty pizza. We make our pizza in a wood oven , to make it in the best way. We offer the take away service and we deliv
The place isn't great inside but you can have a very good italian pizza for a good price, and even they offer take-away.If you don't feel like spending much, and you want some good quality pizza go for it. :)
